Good: 1. This works very well and gets me four bars of signal at about 600 ft direct line of sight and completely covers my three acre property. I posted this 12 ft up on a pole. Im very happy with the setup, though wish the power over IP was better integrated. 2. Came with mounting bracket on the back AND these self ratcheting straps. I had purchased separate ones that I can send back now because they included some in the package as a surprise. Should put a picture of what's included in the box. Bad: 1. I'm in IT Security, so familiar with network and device setup. Ive setup numerous repeaters like this. It took 5 times resetting it to get this setup properly. The instructions included were too simple and didnt give enough information. Online support was essential. 2. I also admit some trepidation about trusting Chinese router products; they dont have a good reputation about user security. Ill be monitoring this with wireshark.

Holy WiFi extender! This thing works amazingly. It has made a huge difference for us. We live in an rv and have a metal building between the main building and where we are. We struggled for 2 years with other extenders. This one is perfect.

Not only did this WiFi extender work very well and boosted my internet signal around my 9 acres, their customer service is A+! I purchased this at the end of November 2024 (over a year ago) and just recently realised that someone broke off three of the four antennas. When I contacted Wavlink support via email, they were extremely responsive and helpful. I fully expected to pay for a new set of antenna to install on my original unit. I was pleasantly surprised to receive this message: “As a token of our appreciation for your support and to ensure your experience is fully satisfactory, the seller has arranged to send you a brand-new WN573HX1 device.” Would I recommend this product and this seller? 100% yes! They went above and beyond where many others would have said I was out of warranty period and out of luck.

This is my 3rd Wavlink AP and it's being returned too - you cannot simply use this as a AP. I'm no noob - I'm a 30+ year IT vet with security & network credentials and this thing is a piece of consumer BS plastic with flashy lights. If you intend to extend your network this will not do it - it can only create a separate wifi networks but will not work for IP cam's, or any network device for that matter that needs to be on the same subnet - makes it useless unless you don't know what you're doing then it "appears" to work and you'll spend a lot of time trying to figure out why other things on your network don't work. It will work as a repeater/extender but crap, if you want that get one for $25.

Allows for wifi to be received in my 30 x 50 shop. 4 stars because it only lasted 1 year before being replaced. Easy set up though.

This extender is amazing. I have 3 acres and this thing gives me full bars absolutely everywhere! Its well built and the huge antennas provide complete coverage of my whole property. Its larger than expected and is of premium quality! VERY HAPPY!

Works as described, up to about 400 ft outside . Note: unless they updated the installation instructions, use a computer to start ital setup as a phone was a bit tricky due to screen size .

Great addition for Starlink improvements of wifi coverage! Makes coverage for cameras and other devices over 13 acres

I am absolutely amazed at the range of this now I have internet through my whole house even though the backyard so I’m very happy Edit: unfortunately after about a month it just stopped sending a signal was working great I had wifi all through the house and backyard I tried resetting it nothing worked I press the reset button on the bottom but the blue light doesn’t change so it stopped sending a wifi signal I will try again with another one see if I have better luck with a new one
