Calligraphy Kit for Beginners - Calligraphy Pen Set with Calligraphy Workbook

I really like the explanations and tips given in this book. I just wish there was more practice pages. I had to purchase practice pages separately.

I love this kit! The book is beautifully appointed with lots of practice pages and more… The pins are very nice, easy to hold, and I love the texture of the ink. I am a beginner, so I will be practicing a lot so this was a perfect investment set for me.

I am enjoying this kit and book to learn Modern Calligraphy. I'll admit i haven't used these pens yet. I've been using LePen Flex pens by Uchida/Marvy and Pentel brush tips flex pens/sign pens. I love color and the pens in this kit are plain black. But other than that, I'm enjoying the practice alphabets! I use tracing paper so as not to write all over the actual book pages, and then I practice on lined Calligraphy paper. This is worth the price, nice alphabets and practice pages.

Modern Hand Lettering Book & Marker Set I was very impressed with the quality of this hand lettering book. The pages are thick, the cover is sturdy, and it feels like a well-made product. I also love supporting small businesses and family-run sellers, which makes this purchase even more worthwhile. As a bonus, there are free downloadable resources included inside! The only downside for me was the markers. While I appreciate that they are included in the set (many similar products don’t include any), I found them to be quite streaky and not my favorite to work with as I progressed through the book. That said, they are a nice addition for beginners and add value to the overall package. Overall, this is a great set, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning or practicing hand lettering.

Puchased as a gift for a 10 year old girl. She has enjoyed it very much. Attractively packaged. Made a fun gift to give.

I love this kit! I wanted to play around with a new style of handwriting, and this book was perfect for getting started. The workbook is easy to follow, and the pen included makes practicing feel really fun and approachable. Great little set for beginners or anyone wanting to get creative with lettering.

The pens are great, I’ve used them a bunch. The book is lacking… they really should’ve included some of the most common text you would need to write (happy birthday, thank you, merry Christmas, etc.). What you get is different “fonts” and you’re provided an upper case and lower case alphabet. You have to figure out how to creatively hook the individual letters together yourself. This is very hard to do well and lots of practice is required. You could just ask AI to write a specific word or phrase in “calligraphy” and then use that as a visual guide and it would be a better resource.

I am having so much fun with this book and pen set. I have purchased other pens, but I like the June and Lucy the best. She provides many pages of different lettering that you can do and it’s just so fun. I highly recommend this.
