fanxiang 256GB SSD SATA III 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive, Read Speed up to 550MB/sec, 3D NAND TLC, Compatible with Laptop and PC, S100

I got fed up with having to move my games from steam from my HDD to my SSD to play them and I think it's better to just leave the drive with windows on well alone to just deal with windows and that's all. So I replaced my HDD with this and this thing is very fast and looks really nice, I have a custom gaming build with a glass side but the drive enclosure is hidden down near the PSU so you cannot actually see the fancy design but nonetheless it's a great little SSD and my games all play so much better and load super quick. Tip, play all your pc games from ab SSD, you'll notice the difference in performance and load times for sure. Got on a deal and was a great price. Just get a cradle if you're switching an old HDD out as these are considerably smaller (fine for a laptop or allinone pc though).

I purchased this SSD to breathe new life into my aging desktop PC, and it has far exceeded my expectations. After cloning my old hard drive with free software I found online, installation was a breeze. Once I swapped out the drives, my PC now boots up in under 30 seconds—something I never thought I’d see with my old setup! The improvement doesn’t stop there. Windows updates, which used to feel like they took forever, now install in no time at all. It’s been a couple of months since I made the upgrade, and I haven’t experienced a single issue. The performance boost has been smooth and reliable, making my computer feel brand new. If you’re looking for a simple way to supercharge your PC’s performance, I can’t recommend this SSD enough. It’s a game-changer and well worth the investment!

Great economy priced drive. 🤞 I've had no issues and still in my laptop today having been a replacement and clone from my old hard drive.

Drive works fine. I wanted to migrate my OS over from a smaller drive. Fanxiang don't seem to have any drive utility like other well known driver manufacturers like Samsung and Western Digital so I tried some of the free versions. They all made an exact copy of the drive, but only partitioned the drive to exactly the same size as the source drive, leaving 800 odd Gig unused. Drove me insane, why aren't they using the WHOLE of the drive, the last drive I brought was Samsung and it was totally painless. If Fanxiang want any further business from me they need to look at this.

I was a little hesitant to buy as I had never heard of this company before. I need not have worried. The SSD drives are well presented and made, which suggets they are no cheap alternative. The packaging is well branded and means the company spent some money making the drives 'appealing' The drive worked immediately when connected to my PC. All I had to do was initialise it as soon as it 'popped up' on my PC screen. Formating was quick and once activated I transferred a large volume of photos that I want to store to it ( on an external caddy). I have no doubt it would function just as well to replace older disk drives in much older PC's. Happy t recommend and will definately purchase again.

Longevity review: Bought a 1tb drive back in 2023 for my sons xbox one to upgrade it from the 500gb mechanical hdd. Have to say the difference in load times were night and day. Its been in everyday use for 2 years with hundreds of games downloaded, played and deleted there has been plenty of read and writes to the drive. Its now August 2025 and its still as good as it was when I purchased it. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I purchased one of these drives. Was working fine and then after a few months we got a "no bootable devices found". We assumed the disk had gone and asked for support from the sellers. Great support from them I have to say. Very friendly and very helpful. They gave us the link to some software that proved the disk drive and its data was all intact. I subsequently created a bootable USB disk, booted under that, followed the "repair" option and then selected the "startup repair" button and we are back in business. Full marks. Well done

Installed this in my Xbox One S. Had to run a script to format properly, which the xbox only sees 500gb of the drive rather than full size of 512 of the drive, but that's the fault of the xbox and not of this SSD. This SSD came in fantastically cheap for a brand new SSD, at the capacity I needed to be able to install Halo collection, and so far, has held up fine. Speeds have been great, and made the Xbox much quieter, specially when it's doing updates in sleep mode as I would always hearing the HDD spin up when the room was quiet that I found annoying. I even like the white case, unusual for SSDs, and even though it's hidden inside a xbox console, atleast I know it's there matching the white exterior of the xbox case.

I sometimes use off-brand SSDs to rehabilitate older PCs. There's no $$$ margin for using name-brand stuff, so it's nice to know that SSDs like this one get the job done for the price of a Happy Meal. If I had an offline crypto wallet stuffed with bitcoins would I store it on this drive. No. But so far, so good.

Great solid state drives for upgrading old computers

Fast, so far reliable, good price and packaged well. Plenty of storage for my needs. My BIOS identified it with no problem. Did a fresh install of Windows with no hiccups. I would buy this again if I needed more storage.

Great to have! Replaced the HDD on my old laptop (2014 ideapad) with this ssd. Now the booting is as fast as 10 seconds! I also love the traditional JingJuLianPu art on the jacket. Very satisfied!

Excelente.
