Versatile Product. Very helpful and worthwhile purchase
I sprained my thumb doing a backbend like I used to do when I was 12... but it's been a minute. I'm 52. Enough said. Well, after suffering with homemade splints for a couple weeks, I broke down and purchased some immobilizing types to really protect it (and keep me from being an overachiever and re-injuring). The thumb was healing well and yet there was no way to take a shower, do dishes, etc, with ease because of the cloth or foam on other braces/splints getting wet... and then I found this! It has been a game-changer for the last leg of my healing journey. I, like others, used a larger to fit over a smaller one for extra support to start, and then "graduated" down to one. I like that it has three different sizes to adjust to the changes in swelling of my thumb. I even turned it slightly sideways to allow for typing or using a pen while still keeping my thumb from bending. It also worked both on or below my knuckle, so if it did get in the way or rub funny when wearing two, I could easily shift them around and were still effective. I found them comfortable enough although the sore thumb isn't truly comfy until totally healed. Anyway, very simple but good design and VERY VERSATILE. Sooo glad I purchased.

Small, Inconspicuous, and Highly Effective
I purchased this Dr. Clark's Wishbone Finger Splint to wear for a few weeks until I was able to get in for an appointment with a hand specialist. I'd injured my pinky finger & was told it was a mallot finger & needed to stay splinted. Other splints were so restricting & getting in the way of everything I tried to do. . .& then I found this little gem! What a game changer! Small, inconspicuous, and highly effective. I can wear this wishbone splint and do EVERYTHING without anyone even noticing I have it on! When I saw my hand specialist he was about to make me a custom splint, but after he carefully examined this wishbone splint, he was so impressed with its design, he said I could continue wearing this one. He even joked that he "missed his calling" for not being the inventor of this simple, yet awesome little splint. I've been wearing it (now only at night) for over a year & it's doing a great job of keeping my finger as straight as possible & protecting it from further injury. Highly recommend.

These things are AWESOME!
I ruptured the ligament on my right ring finger, and urgent care and the hand specialist (two different doctor visits) gave me a terrible "splint" to wear for 8 weeks. The thing barely lasted 8 hours. Thankfully, I found these and it saved the day. Just a couple of observations from the last 3 weeks: If you get the correct size (they fit pretty tight), and your hand/finger stay dry, these stay on great. They are made of a stiff plastic material, and don't interfere with daily tasks (I type a lot for work, and have no problems typing, but the doctor's splint I originally got prevented me from typing). And even if it gets SLIGHTLY wet during the day, it can be taken off to dry, then it goes right back on. BUT, if you wash your hands, do dishes, take a shower, ect..., anything that gets your hand/finger seriously wet, they will slip off, especially using soap, it becomes super slippery. So, if you are going to get these splints, MAKE SURE you order finger cots to put over your finger and the wishbone splint to keep it in place. My first shower had me getting out mid-way to scrounge up a cot to put on. With a cot, the finger stays dry and the splint stays in place. You can see in the picture, the splint is in place, with a cot over the top. Works GREAT! These are well worth the money.

Very sturdy plastic.. to hold, firmly, your dip joint.
Very sturdy.. to firmly hold your dip joint. Once you have found the perfect size. There are many. You will be happily surprised at the perfect fit and support. I also bought the clothe, stretching mini leg warmer finger sleeves to cover up the disgusting drab skin tone that matches noones skin but a Ken doll or carry Gi Joe doll. Lol other than that. These are awesome im as big guy so i needed a number 9 for my first finger dip joint. You can sleeve over this is tape over, or Glover over very easily. It will allow some flexibility if you need to bend that finger.. but for the most part it's 70% solid hold and side support for tendonitis ifc the dip joint. Don't give up.. find the right size and you'll be happy.

Don't work for people who need help most
I wore these for 6 months and only saw a moderate improvement in trigger thumb. Because my knuckles are enlarged from osteoarthritis it was hard to get a good fit, so it helped to have assorted sizes. I had to choose a size that fit loosely enough to get past my joint while turning it. Choosing a size a bit too long made me slice off a bit at the ends with a utility knife, and they moved around so I'd always have to readjust them. After 6 months I got cortisone injections, which fixed the triggering. In short, these don't work well for people most likely to get trigger fingers. Also, expect to drop plenty of things when wearing for thumb trigger because you're squeezing against hard plastic, not the same as squeezing against pliable skin. So these were disappointing and postponed getting more appropriate treatment.

MUCH TOO LARGE -
I ordered this product thinking that it would fit my finger. But 12, 13, 14 would only fit on a finger of a giant. I am a petite small person and need a size 7. The card inside the plastic package claims that you can email and exchange for the right size but when I tried the email that was on the card it would not go through. NO SUCH SITE.
