I’ve left them in the box the way they were packaged. All is OK so far. Lovely pens. Remember to shake them before use with the lids on then press down on the nibs a few of times to release the ink. Lovely pens, fine nibs and the colours are good too. My Grandson who is 5, used them to decorate rocks
