Nilight Ditch Light Bracket Hood Mount Brackets for Front A-Pillar Auxiliary Offroad LED Pod Lights Work Lighting on F150 Raptor 2017-2023 F-150 2015-2023

Been wanting to get ditch lights mounted properly for a while and these Nilight hood hinge brackets finally got me there. Install was straightforward – bolt right onto the existing hood hinge hardware, no drilling, no fabricating, no headaches. If you’ve got basic hand tools and 20 minutes, you’re done. One install tip that made things easier: start with the upper bolt first to get the bracket positioned and held in place, then bring in the lower bolt to lock it down. Trying to juggle both at once is unnecessarily frustrating – upper first makes it a one-person job. The fit is tight and the brackets feel genuinely solid – no flex, no rattling down the trail. These aren’t flimsy stamped sheet metal; they have real weight to them and the finish looks sharp. The positioning puts the lights right where you want them for maximum spread across the ditch on either side of the hood

These mounting brackets fit like a glove! Easy to install, strong, and no rubbing against the hood. I like these much better than the flat ones the you screw on the hood. They slide right in to the hood bracket. There is no hardware included with the brackets since it uses the oem hardware. However, I had to add 5/16" x 1¼" steel washers as the brackets openings were about the same size as the oem factory nuts and would slip through when tightening. Hard to see from the pics, but there is a nice 1/16" space between the bracket and the back edge of the hood, so no rubbing or paint scratching! No vibrating or rattling when driving. Exceptional quality at a very reasonable price!

Excellent fitment! Very sturdy, and easy installation! These took less than 10 minutes to install (just make sure you mark the position of your hinges against your hood before loosening them or have a reference point so you keep it aligned properly when you tighten everything back down).

I have gotten 3 pairs of these and i can say they dont disappoint! Wayyyy better then anything else on the market for more money ,fitment is great, very durable and compatible with many other trucks !

I am giving these a 4- star rating due to the fact I had to bend one of these more to get proper clearance. Other than that they are worth the money to get. They are as described and bolt up perfectly. The coating is ok in my opinion. I do not see it lasting past a year or so. When that time comes I will repaint or powder coat them. These mounts are very stiff and don't flex under highway speeds. Very rigid.

Very easy install. 4 bolts. Do 1 side at a time. Hoods are very heavy. Fits good on a 2021 3rd gen Tacoma if you put them between the hood and the hood hinge. I think this is a much smarter solution then the clamp on style which I was afraid would damage the paint. These brackets are side specific and not marked but they really only fit 1 way so is simple enough to figure out. They do lift the hood alignment a small amount but not enough for anyone to notice. Fits Nilight 3.2in x 3.6in pod lights easily with the hood opened/closed. I do run an auto hood lift system that opens my hood 7 inches higher than factory and even with this the pod lights fit with the hood opened without hitting the glass, but it is close. Metal seems strong with a solid black finish. Doesn’t shake or rattle. Time will tell if they survive the PA winters and salt but until then I’d recommend and will update if need be.

These Nilight ditch light brackets worked exactly as they should, and I had no issues with installation at any point—before, during, or after. Everything needed for installation was there, and I didn’t have to source anything extra. Value for Money: For the price, these are a good deal. They perform as expected without any hassle, which makes them worth it. Mounting Holes: The holes lined up properly with no issues, making installation straightforward and stress-free. Overall, these brackets are a simple, reliable option if you’re looking to add ditch lights without complications.

I have bought many different mounts for multiple vehicles and types of lights, but these here have been one of the best price points for the value. The stability for the lights has been great for 3" and under, but I mounted a set of 5" and had to do some modifications to get them to fit. The vibrations on the smaller lights held up great, even when off roading or down bumpy roads. I give it only 4 stars because there were no instructions included, and the packaging was poor quality at best. The cut and holes line up perfect, and they mount great for my Chevy 2500. The finish for the brackets is a bedliner type material, and is very heavy duty and does not scratch easily when passing down tight trails with tree branches. I recommend this for one of the best mounts for the price and quality over some other brands that are much more expensive.
