Arrived quickly. Well packaged
The item is as described. The flavour just not to my taste.

Not the best taste or product.
I’m really not sure about this product. Heard about it online and the reviews were very mixed. Thought I would try with an open mind. It claims to relax and give a feeling of euphoria without the alcohol. Personally it did nothing for me. It may have some health benefits but at this price there are definitely alternatives that are way cheaper. The taste is pretty grotesque too. You could add mixers to it I guess… Not for me!

Best non alcoholic straight spirit
I'm part of a whisky tasting group but doing dry Jan, this hits the spot for something that leaves a long lingering warming after effect like a nice dram. It's very pepper forward (like the Kettle chip flavour) crossed with bitters. It's not a nice taste neat per se, but way better than a lot of the junk alternatives that require you to mix them and still leave you feeling like something is missing.

Very peppery…
If you like pepper it’s fine. I found it too harsh on my throat and oesophagus and starts me coughing.it’s got a short shelf life when open so use it up quickly. I just added to drinks I already enjoy including warm milk, chocolate or soda whenever. I can’t say I enjoyed it much nor did it have much effect on me- other than the coughing. I won’t be re- purchasing.

Surprised, on two fronts!
Firstly, surprised by the size of the bottle. It’s smaller than you might think, therefore more expensive than you might expect However, it’s a really nice drink, if you’re looking for it to replace alcohol. It really does have the feel of a mixed, long alcoholic drink. Would definitely buy again

Insomnia!
I bought this and the red version. The black version give me crippling insomnia everytime I drank some. Rather than "calming you down" it had the exact opposite effect.

I really didn't like the taste of this, so a waste of money for me.

Highly recommended this first prototype mood altering non-alcoholic drink
I absolutely love sentia. Sentia Red with tonic and sentia black with ginger ale / Coca Cola / Dr Pepper. Get a great feeling when enjoying these drinks. Not bad for their first prototype mood altering non-alcoholic drink. I’ve seen some negative reviews elsewhere and I was so surprised. They say it’s more effective when you don’t drink alcohol, and perhaps that’s why, I gave up drinking 10-11 months ago. It’s not alcohol, and as such, you will not feel effects as you would with alcohol. It’s more subtle. Every social event I walk away from and notice how I felt happy, sociable (less socially anxious) and relaxed.. it adapts to the environment I am in. If you bring no preconceptions, and really listen to your mood, I have zero doubts you will love these drinks too. I have also seen some criticism around the ginger in sentia black being too intense which is understandable. Sometimes I don’t fancy the intensity of it - I’d recommend trying it with Coke vanilla or Dr Pepper.

I’m not sure why this doesn’t have amazing reviews. The taste is definitely earthy and not super pleasant, but the black version gives me energy and this sense of well being that I can’t get from caffeine. I have a subscription because I love it so much.

A water viscosity liquid with heavy notes of Black Pepper, Red Oak, and bitters. I have had German Digestif and its very similar. For those comparing to whiskey all I can say is try better whiskey. I think I will try to water down the acrid flavor with blood orange and seltzer, it's undrinkable on the rocks.

Figured I’d post this for both Red and Black so readers can decide for themselves. First off, if you’re looking for an alternative to alcohol’s mood elevation and relaxation effects, you will not recreate that high with anything other than alcohol (or harder drugs). If you want something that spices up a drink, gives your tastebuds a jolt and most importantly; no hangover, then this might be for you. I’ll list the traits in groups: Mood effects: Red is clearly the winner here providing a very mild sedative effect. It’s not a Valium or anything like that, but just a mild relaxation feeling. Black doesn’t seem to do anything (for me) as I was hoping it was going to provide an energy boost and focus effect that the website says. Taste: Black wins by a wide margin. It’s actually very tasty and combines with pretty much any mixer or can be drank on the rocks. Red tastes heavily medicinal (some have even said soap like). It definitely needs a mixer if you want to enjoy it. Overall, this is a great idea. You get to hold a drink that looks and feels like a cocktail without any negative effects. Your tastebuds get a little kick with each sip that tells your brain that this isn’t just soda, water or coffee. If you’re someone who comes home and has a couple drinks after work and doesn’t like what it does to your waistline or your brain then these can definitely take the place.

I’m giving this five stars not because it gets you drunk or buzzed but because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s an alcohol alternative. Kinda like sweet-n-low is a sugar alternative, whereby it kinda does the same thing, but not exactly and if you wanted sugar it can leave you wanting. So if you’re exactly looking to get drunk/buzzed, then drink…or get yourself some THC. But if you need something that’s not alcohol or drugs so that you can function like a well-balanced adult, this might do the trick. I was pouring wine in order to “turn off the switch” after a stressful day at work, but this turned into a daily routine. I needed “an alternative” so I gave Sentia a try. It doesn’t make you more social, it doesn’t make you chatty and it doesn’t make the person you’re with any more attractive. What it does do is mellow you out. And that’s exactly what I need. I put 10ml in a tall glass and fill the rest with sparkly water. I drink 2-3 of those between dinner and bedtime. And then I sleep like a teenager on a school day. So I’m a big fan of this stuff and have made it my nightly routine. BUT when I want to enjoy wine with friends or whisky with my buddies I do that specifically. There’s no alternative to that. Oh and then the taste, the red taste like currants, the orange tastes like Tang with no sugar and then the black, get this, it tastes like Coca Cola, without sugar. It’s the most bizarre thing. But I’ve come to really enjoy it. So at $40, it’s an investment. But if you’re looking for an alternative, well all I can say is, it worked great for me.

Personally, I'm not a fan of this. I tried it to help me wind down in the evenings and I couldn't tell a difference at all. The strong taste coupled with ineffectiveness for me means I won't be giving it another go. May work as described for others though!
