Soil Thermometer with Easy to Read dial

worked really well and easy to use. just stabbed it into the ground under the trees at the bottom of the garden, went indoors and forgot all about it. 10 days later (well, the weather has been just awful) i rescued it and found out, yes, I can put nematodes there to kill the pesky vine weevils. it's obviously sturdy and the temperature guage changes quickly as i discovered when i brought it indoors to clean it. extremely simple and clear to read so i would recommend it.

Good value - but possibly not quite as robust as I would have wanted when inserting into compacted soil but ste eay read dial is good.

Great product and service

Bought this soil thermometer to monitor the soil temperature daily in the hotbed that I started mid February 2014, it seemed to work accurately and was easy to read. I found it invaluable for monitoring the daily temperatures until around August when I didn't need it anymore this year. It is about 7 inches long which is the depth I needed to monitor, it also has an easy to read dial as stated. I am ordering 2 more for the extra hotbeds I shall be doing in 2015. Very pleased with it and would recommend it.

Arrived quickly and seems to be sturdy and fairly accurate. Purchased to ensure parsnip seed was not planted out to soon as it rots and fails to germinate if its to cold. . Worked a treat, lots of parsnips now growing strong. Like the easy to read dial.

I needed a soil thermometer for my allotment which you could read easily when in the ground. This arrived well packaged within a few days have used on the allotment and works fine. This was easy to read well made and strong enough for my use. Would recommend Company for excellent product and service.
