I’ve been using The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how gentle yet effective it is. It creates a light foam that cleans my skin without leaving it feeling dry or tight, which is something I struggle with when using other cleansers. I love that it removes dirt, oil, and even light makeup easily while still being suitable for sensitive skin. The formula feels very clean and simple, and it doesn’t have a strong fragrance, which is a big plus for me. After using it consistently, my skin feels softer, more balanced, and less irritated. I just started using The Ordinary and so far am loving it! This cleanser is gentle and washes away the mascara and makeup I wore through the day. I love the price point for the size. Not much of a fragrance.

While I like to look put together and occasionally go all out with hair and make up, I’m really a low maintenance kind of lady. The high cost of products and learning the proper way to use products has always been a turn off for me, so I’ve never had a skincare routine. However dry wrinkled aging skin is a bigger turn off! Now, at age 45 and perimenopause setting in, aging has begun. I decided about 8 months ago it was long past due that I started a skin care routine and try to preserve any healthy youth I have left in my skin. After lots of research I decided to try the brand Ordinary. The main driving point of selecting this brand was cost. After 8 months of trying several items in their product line, here is my take away. Pros Affordability being number one.: Highly budget-friendly, allowing a full, effective, science-backed full skincare routine to be built for under $100 Transparency: Clear, ingredient-focused formulas (e.g., Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5) with no hidden additives. Effectiveness: I definitely see an improvement in my skins texture, hydration, and brightness. Range: Wide variety of products addressing specific concerns, including acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation. Cons Complexity: It is confusing when trying to build a routine; It requires research to understand layering, contraindications, and proper application. Ive been using the line for almost a year and I still feel like I go at it blind and should be doing more or doing things differently. Potential Irritation: High concentrations of active ingredients (e.g., AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution) can lead to skin sensitivity, chemical burns, or damage if used incorrectly. So far I haven’t experienced this but my research shows it’s a strong possibility making it so I have not really explored the entire product line out of fear. Texture Issues: I find the serums to be sticky, and if you do not allow your skin to completely dry in between layering applications the products are prone to pilling (rolling or flaking off the skin). Drying time between layering is several minutes and this is not really convenient. The products I use daily are the face cleanser, the multi-peptide hyaluronic acid, retinol serum and the face cream.

Great foaming cleanser, easy on sensitive skin, but still leaves your face feeling clean it foams up nicely It doesn’t burn if you get it in your eyes and it doesn’t leave a weird residue on your face. It has been my favorite cleanser for about a year now. You can’t beat the price !

I have had fungal/hormonal, acne my whole life. I have tried every product under the sun and worked. I am on a low income budget and don’t have money for a dermatologist so I asked ChatGPT designed me a facial routine that could help with my acne and red spots. Chat recommended The Ordinary’s line of products, and I have been thrilled with the results. I love The Ordinary brand in general, and this foaming cleanser is very gentle, while at the same time being great for my acne-prone skin and occasional bumps and redness. I follow the cleanser up with either The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% in the morning and The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution at night, and then finish with The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and sunscreen. My skin has never been better. I have had acne my whole life up till my current age of 35. Nothing has worked except for Head and Shoulder shampoo face masks, which I have continued, along with The Ordinary’s products. Not only do I rarely have acne, but when I do, it disappears quickly and my skin is also glowing and smoother and younger looking! My pores look less large and my skin is so soft. Highly recommend, especially for people with fungal/hormonal acne and sensitive skin. Here is a before and after picture!

I’ve been using this The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser in the evening and sometimes in the morning too. I wanted something simple that cleans well without making my skin feel stripped, and this one does a good job. If you like minimal, non-irritating skincare that performs quietly but well, this is a great choice. Gentle enough for morning and night, and it leaves skin soft, clean, and comfortable.

Very nice cleanser not too foamy not too creamy and does an excellent job without drying out your skin

I recently tried the The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser and overall I think it’s a decent product. It does a good job of cleaning the skin and leaves it feeling fresh without that tight, stripped feeling you sometimes get with other cleansers. It’s quite a gentle formula, which is great if you have sensitive skin, and it removes everyday dirt and oil effectively while still keeping your skin comfortable. (Boots) However, I did find the texture a bit more runny than expected, and it doesn’t foam as much as I thought it would for a “foaming” cleanser. You also need to use a bit more product to get a proper cleanse, which means it might not last as long as you’d hope. Overall, it’s a good gentle cleanser that works well for everyday use, but the consistency and low foam might not suit everyone.

Pero me resecaban la piel.. Cara de cartón! 🫩 Leí bastantes comentarios de él y al ser habitual de The ordinary.. No lo dudé!.. Y no me arrepiento!! Verdaderamente con muy poca cantidad hace una espuma muy suave y te deja la piel.. Realmente limpia, suave y con un color imposible de mejorar! Tiene una calidad de 10.. El precio es competitivo.. Gefällt mir super, reinigt das Gesicht oder auch andere Bereiche wie Dekolleté/Rücken super. Mir gefällt vor allem auch wie er sich auftragen lässt und schäumt. Hatte zuvor den Creme Cleanser der selben Marke, der hat mir in der Anwendung nicht so gut gefallen wie dieser.
