Neewer 501PL Tripod Fluid Head Quick Release Plate, Camera Mounting Plate with 1/4" and 3/8" Screws, Anti Off Pin for GM001 GM002 GM006 Fluid Heads, QR5

I recently purchased the Neewer Video Tripod with fluid head TP37. I assume since its primarily a video tripod it only came with one quick release plate. I have a couple of "big" lenses (Canon RF 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM, and Canon RF 100-500 f/4.6-7.1 IS USM) that come with tripod mounting rings. Instead of taking the extra time to attach the plate to whichever lens I need, I find it easier to leave the plate on each lens. Also, the 1/4" tripod screw does not fall out of the plate like the plate that came with the tripod. The plates work the same as the one that came with the tripod. The plates all come with 11/4" and 3/8" tripod screws. The tripod has a place to put the unused screw, however, with the 2 new plates I'm concerned about storing the unused 3/8" tripod screws (which I probably will never use anyway).

I bought two. One stays on my SVBony 80 mm telescope. The other one goes on my Nikon body. Either way, this is to interface to my Neewer tripod. I use their video tripod, and these are my adapters. They work perfectly!

Just recently picked these over another option which did NOT fit. These DO work nicely with the Manfrotto MVH502A / MVT502AM tripod combo! Regained our faith that such postings do work on Amazon and other vendors such as Neewer.

I needed a couple extras to make easy and fast camera changes on the tripod and mount. Well built product, heavy duty feel but lightweight. Be sure to check your mount head model for proper fit and functionality.

I bought this 2-pack 501PL quick release plate set as backups for my fluid head and to keep plates on multiple cameras. Overall, these are a great value and work well if you need extra plates without paying “name brand” prices. What I liked: Fits 501PL-style heads properly (slides in smoothly and locks as expected). Solid build—doesn’t feel flimsy, and the screw threads are clean. The 1/4" screw holds cameras securely (I’ve used it with a mirrorless + small cage). Having two plates is super convenient for swapping cameras fast. Things to note: Tolerances can vary slightly between heads. On one of my heads it was perfect; on another it was a tiny bit snug at first (still usable). The included screw is fine, but if you use heavier rigs you may want to ensure everything is tightened properly (like any 501PL plate). Bottom line: If your setup uses 501PL/Videomate-style plates, this Neewer 2-pack is a smart spare set—reliable and affordable. I’d give it 5 stars if the fit was identical across every head, but for the price it’s an easy recommendation.

Lost my other plate or maybe it was stolen who knows but this was perfectly replaced my last mounting plate. No issues what so ever.

Although the plate is slightly longer than the plate for a Manfrotto 501PL, I am pleased. The price is $40 lower than the OEM equivalent. NEEWER is known for quality workmanship. This plate meets my expectations. I'm glad I made this puchase.

Neewer have really up'd their game over the past few years. I am very impressed by these base plates and they fit across all my Manfrotto tripods.
