Treasure Gold Metallic Gilding Wax 25g - White Fire

I’ve been Restoring Picture frames and needed a Gilt Wax to match my existing pot sadly although it’s stated /named the same as the original it falls way short of a matching colour.See photo.

Perfect colour to brighten up a cheap mirror that I had painted cream. Not cold, like a silver but not too brassy like a yellow gold. Ages the the mirror and highlights the details on the frame. Easy to apply with your fingertips but be careful as it turn a more pewter colour if you rerub over the same area.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do well. I use my finger to apply it as I find this easiest and a little bit of nail polish remover cleans it right off.

Arrived earlier than expected. Beautiful colour. I had bought new handles for s project which were different colours of pewter. Used the wax to make them the same. Turned out a better colour than I had hoped for. Would recommend.

The Gilding Wax works very well on various surfaces, I am pleased with the result
