The single-most comprehensive Pokémon reference guide to date. Got it for our anniversary and were blown-away by how in-depth the information goes and how beautiful the art is. If you're apprehensive, just go ahead and get this guide. All Pokémon as of 2025 are featured, and as of writing this review, you can't get any more up to date in a physical text.

Showing my age here but all things Pokemon are foreign to me but...... ...I am reliably informed by the younger members of the family that this is just 'the best'. Hundreds of pages of unusually shaped, coloured and named characters with all sorts of hieroglyphs and figures splashed here, there and everywhere. Truly enthralling. All jokes aside, the quality of this book is really high and if I was in receipt of a book presented in a similar manner (but with a good crime thriller storyline) I'd be more than happy. Well bound, crispy printed and comprising heavier weight pages. Can't fault

Lovely gift for the Pokémon fan in your life. Bought as a gift for my grandson who is obsessed with Pokémon, I think he will be very pleased. A quick look through shows nice illustrations and lots of Pokémon trivia

This book is well presented and easy to read. Very clear and well laid out.

I got a used one and I was expecting better as it came a bit more damaged than the description led me to believe, a little disappointed but at the end of day it was a bit cheaper and it still functions as a book so still good.

It’s very complete. It’s awesome. My son has, however, discovered some mistakes in the categories ascribed to the pokemon.

My Pokemon obsessed 7YO takes this book everywhere with her. She loves learning all the stats and uses it to look up Pokemon that she has questions about. A fantastic buy for any Pokemon lover.

This was a fantastic purchase for my 7 year old Pokemon obsessed son. Great illustrations. Great detail. Very thorough reference book that my son regularly uses (and reads!). The Pokemon are sorted in alphabetical order so that's also a huge bonus. My son is not only reading, but also learning how to find his favourite characters alphabetically. This book has provided months & months of enjoyment. So good in fact, have purchased as a birthday gift for several of his friends.

My sons are big fans. We have the earlier versions/ editions and although I was not sure about buying this one (I thought it would be basically the same), but my boys are delighted with it and have not put it down since getting it. I had to negotiate big time in order to get the book to make a video for this rating.
