Good quality glass and good quality product and the filter is perfect for filtering the coffee. My only criticism is I think it would benefit from a groove so the coffee pours down the groove rather than straight over the lip, I always seem to manage to spill a few drops of coffee! Apart from that it’s a great weight, has a proper insulated handle with a leather tie and is easy to wash. Great product and would buy again.

Makes wonderful coffee and easy to clean (if you use paper filters as well). Cork handle is a bit fiddly and capacity could be a little larger. We bought this for use on a boat where cafetière is a bit of pain having to clean out granules and rinse. The pour over technique makes better coffee and we use with appear filters inside the metal filter which makes it much easier to clean.

Perfect size for two. I warm the pot with warm water first. Very easy to use and clean. Makes great coffee.

The jug feels solid and robust enough, looks pretty stylish too - makes for great coffee too, once we'd set aside the other items which came in the set: namely the filter, lid, and scoop. We quickly reverted to using filter papers plus our old plastic filter - and re-tied the leather cord which otherwise got in the way. We also had to clear a storage spot in the kitchen corner, as the jug is too tall for the kitchen shelving.

Great starter pour over kit

We have used a cafetiere for many, many years and grind our own beans. The mesh filter on the cafetiere did a good job but we always had a sludge in the bottom of the cup. We needed a new cafetiere and were recommended to try this filter coffee maker. This was the best advice ever and the difference in quality of taste is unbelievable. This maker is stylist and functional. Easy to use and clean. If you are new to this type of maker I would recommend looking at YouTube for tips and ideas (We did). do not forget to get the filters (we get ours from Whittards).

Superb little coffee maker, I have an instant hot water dispenser in the kitchen so a filter coffee maker is really not needed, but this little guy takes it's place. I will say that I did buy additional bamboo filters (not a big fan of fixed filters), but I like the size, pour over, etc., and the price was extremly good...a great compliment to the french press from bodum!

La cafetera es muy bonita, los materiales de calidad, resistentes... todo amante del café debería tener una de éstas para aquellos días en los que disponga de un poco más de tiempo para preparar una o varias tazas de café (ojo, tampoco es que tarde mucho en filtrar, sólo que pues hay que hervir el agua antes). El corcho que rodea del cuello de la jarra se retira para lavarla, es muy fácil por el cordón de cuero y el botoncito que lo ajusta. Lo que sí es que es necesario un escobillón para limpiar bien la jarra por dentro ya que el café la deja aceitosa (de preferencia no debe lavarse con jabón, sólo con agua), el filtro es relativamente rápido y efectivo.

It works fine even without a disposable filter. The coffe tastes good and it look very pretty. It is a bit bigger than what I expected (1l) but it is still easy to store. Since this was the first time I used this kind of tool I found the instructions scarce but it is pretty easy to find tutorials online.

I upgraded from my plastic moulinex pour over unit and I'm so glad I did! Not only is the filter so amazing and high quality, but the design of the glass unit is really lovely. I find it easy to clean, I just use a bottle brush. I also love how most of the sediment left behind from brewing just kinda stays in the bottom of the caraft, also the flavor of the brew is amazing. All told I'm super happy with it!

This system is so simple and it produces an excellent cup of coffee. The filter is completely made of metal, no plastic. All you get is the pure coffee flavor. I ground up some fresh beans, put them directly in the metal cone filter, and poured a little hot, not boiling water on the grounds to bloom the coffee. I waited about 15 seconds and began adding water slowly. Once I added my 2 cups of hot water I waited a minute to let as much water go through as possible and then set the filter aside. I poured my coffee into a cup after swirling the brew. I drank it black because I wanted to really taste the coffee since I'm new to this pour over system. Outstanding flavor! Bold, but smooth. Just delicious. I was careful to drink the last sips of coffee slowly so that I wouldn't get coffee sediment in my mouth. That's important for the best experience. I knocked it down to 4 stars in the cleaning category because it is glass and it gets slippery during cleaning. I need to take extra care. This pour over system is amazing. The stainless filter is well machined and smooth. The holes are small enough to hold back all but the finest coffee particles. This product is an excellent value!
