these little recording devices are great, they could be used for multiple purposes, but especially for tracking inventory that needs to be kept at certain temperatures/humidity. very accurate recording, and they have a very long lifespan. They are very easy to use, and very easy to access the files that it has stored over its travels. Definitely worth the price to ensure your products are handled correctly. Great little trackers, great price, highly recommended.

I guess I did not understand what "Single Use" meant (maybe I was thinking it did not connect to multiple loggers?). I was just "testing" these and I got it to start then I turned it off. I did not realize that ends its useful life. You can't turn it on again. I wasted 2 of them thinking I could turn them back on again and re-use them. I wish it was made clear that once you turn it off, that's it. With that in mind, I think some others may also mess up. For example, when I first got these I thought I started it, but several days later, when I went to read it, I got nothing. In other words, I thought it was started but it wasn't. I think the natural instinct in people would be to "make sure" it is working, but you can't do that with these. Imagine you trusting this thing is working and 200 days later you go to check the data and nothing is there! I really think there needs to be a better system to know if it is, indeed, collecting data. Hope this helps.

Compact, accurate, good lifespan: This product is very compact and easy to fit into a bunch of different container types without taking up too much space. The thin design of the product in particular makes it easy to slide into place, and the devices are decently durable and can withstand environments of varying temperature ranges without incurring damage. The product has been pretty accurate and is a very valuable tool when transporting materials that need to stay within a a certain temperature range (food in our case). The data output is simple to comb through and provides a very good picture of the temp fluctuations. The 200 day range is pretty good just be aware these are one and done, so you can't reuse them after use. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Overall, I'd say these temperature loggers do a great job at what they're designed to do. They seem accurate compared to my other thermometers, they faithfully log the data, and they present it in a great set of reports that are easy to digest. The first report that it offers is a nice PDF with varying information like the minimum and maximum temperatures it recorded, and a graph of the data unfortunately this is only represented in one temperature unit (Celsius in this case). The second report is a raw CSV file of the temperatures (both C and F), and the time it was recorded at. Also, the temperature loggers come with stickers on the packaging that can be easily removed and stuck elsewhere for tracking which logger was placed in which location/shipment with ease. The temperature loggers are easy to start, and easy to view the data from. However, I did have a bit of an issue with stopping the data logging without plugging it into a computer. While plugging it in is one way to stop the data logging, the instructions indicate that you should be able to stop the logging manually using the button on the device. However, I wasn't able to get that method of stopping the data logging to work on multiple temperature loggers. While I haven't had enough time yet to test the 200 days of logging it claims, it can definitely handle three weeks worth of logging with no issues. In the end, if you have a need for single-use temperature loggers, these aren't a bad choice. However, beware that if you need to be able to explicitly stop the logging without a USB port nearby, you may have troubles with it like I did.

Every three months, I have to get my blood drawn to produce serum tears, requiring 14 vials that must remain cold during transport. Using a shipping cooler with enough ice packs ensures everything stays at the right temperature, and the temperature logger provides proof that the vials stayed within range throughout the journey. The temperature logger is super simple to use and once you plug the logger into a computer it shows up like a USB memory stick and the files are all there to be access and then analyzed for a full report of the temperature during the shipment. This way, the lab can no longer say the samples arrived warm, as I now have evidence they were kept cold the entire time. It also saves me from the hassle of having to provide another 14 vials of blood.

Cool gadget if you need to track temperatures on lets say a grocery shipment or anything which is temperature sensitive. I did the foolish thing of turning it on to check it out, and apparently once you turn it on, thing is on and won't shutoff. I Read in the instructions you can hold it to shut it back off but it won't which is the reason I gave it 4 stars. You cannot write over the memory on the stick either, so once it starts, that's it. Good for one time use.

So far these have reacted exactly as described: Push the power button more than 5 seconds (I am guessing it took closer to 8-10 seconds) and the blue light flashes telling you it is activated. I am planning a 180 day run on these, so we'll have to see how much data actually gets logged. 2 of 2 that I have used so far are working as expected...the rest will be used in the next few months. If I have any longevity or logging issues, I will update my review, but for now, considering price-point...it's a definitely recommend.
