Efficient and great value. Helped heal my shoulder replacement. It was a blessing.

My doctor wanted me to use ice therapy following reverse should replacement surgery. I dont really like the cold, so wasn’t going to buy it. But SO glad we did. First, it feels so good. Second, when you shift around to get comfy, your ice pack doesnt fall off. Third, it is so quiet. It seems similar to my Dyson fan. Just a subtle quiet fan sound. The only negative is the timer. It is SO loud, and if you fall asleep, it will wake you. I wish they didn’t have a timer at all. My doctor wanted 30 min on and 30 min off. The machine is set for 20, 40, 60, ON. So I just do 20 / 20 instead. I really do like this machine. The only real negative - my husband had to strap it on over my shoulder, and I cant take it off left handed. So you have to walk with this heavy cooler to the bathroom. It’s inconvenient. But I will take it for the relief it provides.

The cooler kept the ice water cold for at least 10-12 hrs. I had a hip replacement and needed to ice for 20 min every hour and this made it so easy to not have to run back and forth to the freezer for traditional ice packs. The cooler pack is also very flexible to fit the affected area perfectly. The only improvement could be to make it so the hose doesn’t bend so easy at the ice pack. That cuts off the flow of the ice water. You just need to have the hose lay in the right direction so it doesn’t bend. Otherwise operated better that expected.

So far.. arrived on time seems fine but I have no instructions so I don't know if I have all the parts nor do I know how to use it?

I got this for post ankle surgery ice therapy. It has some quirks but nothing me and my husband couldn’t fix. Here’s some of my tips and tricks. 1) If you have weakness in your hands, the connection of the pad to the main hose could be a challenge but you also don’t want something full of water popping off either. So have someone to help if needed. It’ll be worth it and you shouldn’t have to take it apart very often. 2) Watch out for any kinks in the pad or hose. It will cause the machine to struggle and the water won’t circulate properly. If it can’t circulate properly, it won’t stay cold and the little pump could wear out faster. 3) It kept the water very cold, but I would suggest a combination of ice and frozen water bottles. The ice to cool it down quickly and the frozen water bottles to keep it cold. This worked very well for me. 4) Fair warning, the Velcro straps are very long to accommodate various placements and the male Velcro is super strong! Make sure you can reach the tabs easily because you’ll need the leverage. All this said, this little machine provided so much relief that it is worth every penny!
