Nice for colored icing cookies

Some of these colors are deep and only need 2-3 drops of make a vibrant color. Other colors, like black are a whole lot harder to get right. I used about 1/2 bottle of black dye for a layer of buttercream on a cake. When I was done mixing, it came out to be a dark grey. In order to save the cake, I blended it with a deep blue to mimic colors in a balloon garland to create the color you see. It is important to note that this was my first time making a cake and buttercream, so maybe it could have been user error. Overall, this product is a hit or miss. I rated it 4 stars because there were many options for the price and some colors looked really nice. Don’t use if you’re looking for a good black! Do use if you’re looking for a good teal. 😊

Love these colors! Nice for caksickles. Idk if shaking the bottles before use would help more? but I haven't done so. I see little spots when mixing into the chocolate wafers, but i'm sure I have to stir better. it doesn’t happened each time so it's probably me not staring good enough. Pink is pink and red is the darker pink shown in the images....so use more if you want an actual red color! Would need to do the same with green (image attached... light green / yellow cakesicles). So some colors youll need to use more drops than others! The teal is very pretty. I'll probably buy again in future.

Concerns about safety. Big news from the FDA: starting January 2027, artificial coloring , some are included in this packet will be completely banned from food, beverages, and oral medications. The deadline for food manufacturers is January 15, 2027, while drug manufacturers have until January 18, 2028 to comply. I’m using it to make cookies for my child and will stop using it cuz it contains colors that increase risks of cancer according to the new FDA guideline. Beware.

Estos colorantes fueron justo lo que necesitaba para decorar mis postres. Los colores son vivos, intensos y se mezclan súper bien con glaseado, fondant, chocolate blanco y hasta masas para galletas. Solo con unas gotitas logré tonos muy bonitos sin alterar el sabor de los dulces.
