For the time being, I will give this 5 stars. I have read the reviews and the concerns regarding fragile compartment latches and sauce cup lids. The plastic this is made with seems to be thick and durable. First, the latches. Yes, they can break if you do not have the compartment lined up correctly and try to latch it down. You do not have to be gentle or soft handed; you just have to pay attention, make sure the compartments are aligned correctly, and not force them closed. Will they eventually break, maybe? I have only been using this for a few days and so far, I see no issues. Second, the sauce cup lids. I actually do not understand the complains on this one? The lids are stiff but pliable plastic, and I bowed them back and twisted them slightly and neither one broke nor cracked. From what I can tell, it would take excessive flexing, more than needed to open or close it, for me to make one of these break. The box I received was leak proof. I filled both layers with water then shook it, shifted it around, then let it sit and no water came out. The capacity with this box is excellent! The bottom compartment is more than big enough for soup, pasta, omelets, sandwiches, just about anything fits in that section. I actually put two chicken thighs, mashed potatoes with gravy, and cole slaw in the bottom section and it was almost too much food for my lunch break. The middle section is divided into three very nicely portioned sections. Basically, this Bento box will hold a full course meal very easily. The top section with the plastic ware and the sauce cups has plenty of space and can hold more. The plastic ware themselves are very well made, durable, and comfortable. I wish they had included a knife to go with it though. The design overall is very well thought out, and I will be using this pretty much every day. For under $14 and compared to other boxes of similar design for a higher price... This is a very good value! Update, 5/26/26: I have been using this box now for a couple months on a very regular basis. I have had absolutely no issues of any kind with broken latches, leaks, or cracking sauce cup lids. One thing I did discover, is that if you want to scale down the box in order to do just a basic meal in the bottom section, the lid for the top section attaches to it perfectly with no leaking issues and you can leave the middle section out. This is excellent for nights when I just want to do a smaller lunch. I couldn't be happier with this for no more than it cost.

First thing I have to say is my camera darkened the color in my pictures. The actual color of the purple does match the color shown in the official pictures. Now, this is an adorable lunchbox. I wish the sauce containers were a bit bigger but outside of that it’s great. The measurements match, the color matches. The kids seal and snap closed really well. The plastic is a decent thickness, I don’t know how insulating it will be but I did order a lunch bag for this as well to help with the insulation factor. I can’t speak to the actual use yet because this was purchased as a gift but it does look great. The different compartments will help keep the different foods and snacks separated. The fork and spoon are actually pretty thick and a good quality as well. I think my family member love her new lunchbox.

Great container! Love that it has multiple sections. Perfect way to pack a lunch of leftovers or a bento box. The sectioned areas are perfect to keep messier items contained or to split into cold and hot containers. This way you are only heating up what needs to be heated. Perfect for a hot meal and salad. The lid takes some getting used to closing but it works well. It washes up nicely in the dishwasher on the top rack. It's a nice rubberized plastic so it isn't brittle. It is also leak proof. I may be buying a second. Definitely a good value for the money. Super flexible.

Maybe I’m just picky but.. this looks blueish as heck 😭 I wanted it to be more purple like in the photos! Aside the color being a lie to my soul, the quality of the item is very durable and pretty. I will keep it and gift it to a friend that likes this color. I just wish the color had been more accurate

Stores a lot of food. It's not leak proof so you'll have to stick to solid foods. I like that it has a little area for utensils. It's relateively easy to clean just chuck the thing in the dishwasher.

Very nice, allows me to store lots of food in it. The utensils it comes with are cute, but don't pick up food as well as real silverware. Unfortunately, this isn't actually leak proof, either. I've had pasta sauce leak out and into my lunch box. It doesn't leak TOO badly, but it still does leak. Food can spill on other food in the second layer, too. So I'd recommend putting anything with sauce on the bottom layer, to prevent it from possibly pulling on other food. If you plan on packing a lot of soups for lunch, this isn't for you. If you're like me and mainly pack fruits and salads, this is pretty good. The value depends on what you're going to use it for. I'd recommend cautiously buying it.

This got 5 stars from me because it has everything needed to pack your lunch. I, however, lacked the ability to pack my lunch every day for work so they sit on my countertop adding some much needed color to an otherwise boring kitchen. I wish I had the fortitude to pack every day and sometimes I remember and on those days I am showing everyone my cool and colorful Bento boxes.

Best lunch box every. Allows me to pack a decent size lunch for my teenage son. Eg several sandwiches, and fruit and some biscuits and cheese,

Its a shame you cannot use a single lunchbox out of the 3 with a lid that connects without the dividers. I like my lunchbox with no dividers, and my daughter likes dividers and I thought they could be used separately too seeing they all gad lids, oh well.
