100% Recommend!
Super easy to install and convenient to use. Small, Sturdy and sticks to the window well. We purchased it for our sliding patio door so our toddler can’t make the great escape. Definitely recommend!

Burglabar 2 Pack for Sliding Doors: A Decent Layer of Defense (But Maybe Not a Silver Bullet)
I recently bought these Burglabar 2 Packs for my sliding doors, and a friend is going through a tough situation with her ex. Here's my breakdown of what to expect: Pros: Easy to Install: These things are super simple to put on - no tools required! Just peel and stick according to the instructions. Additional Deterrent: While not Fort Knox, the Burglabar makes it more difficult for someone to casually pry open your sliding door. This might be enough to deter an opportunistic thief. Peace of Mind: Having this little barrier in place offers some added comfort during a stressful time, especially for my friend. Cons: Not Foolproof: Let's be honest; a determined intruder could probably break through these with enough force. They're more of a deterrent than a complete security solution. Limited Stopping Power: If someone really wants to get in, they could potentially break the glass in the door. Rental Restrictions: Some rental agreements might not allow permanent fixtures like these on the doors. Overall: The Burglabar is a budget-friendly option for adding a little extra security to your sliding doors. It's easy to install and offers peace of mind, especially for those who feel vulnerable. However, it's important to remember that it's not an impenetrable force field. The Bottom Line: The Burglabar can be useful, but security is a layered approach. For comprehensive protection, consider it alongside other measures.

Great product, might need to replace yearly
I bought this two pack two and a half years ago and I'm coming back for some more. Amazon's AI analysis of reviews reports you should expect these to last about a year under heavy use, so I feel I got my money's worth. These are sturdy and and while the adhesive is still holding strong, the hinges get loose and wobbly over time, as is natural. Great product! 👍

Great to use in addition to a security bar
These are great in addition to using a stick in the base of your sliding door. These prevent the door from tipping over at the top if someone was to try and break the door open even with the stick in place at the bottom. Easy set up but wouldn’t use these on their own u still need a security bar for a sliding door.

Works really well, but MAKE SURE YOU LET THE ADHESIVE CURE
So I originally installed this wrong 4 years ago because I was like, who needs instructions, and then I did it wrong. But!! It still worked! After 4 years of slamming the door into it by about an inch every time we opened the sliding door but forgot it was locked it eventually broke. I can’t stress enough that I did it the wrong direction and it still functioned great. I don’t think anyone ever tried to break in but I can tell you from experience that no one was coming in or out of that door if you didn’t unlock the burglar bar first. But I needed to replace it. So we installed a new one (the correct way) and it’s snug, installation went great, looks amazing. I tried it out and when locked the door doesn’t budge. Perfect. So I went to show my partner and this is where I messed up. Y’all need to take that adhesive warning seriously. Command strips and stuff like that have them too and I never paid attention, which is on me. Give it the time it needs to fully adhere to the glass. when I went to show my partner how snug the door is now that the bar is properly installed, I hadn’t waited long enough and the bar fell off and into the gap between the 2 sliding doors. We can’t get it out. The door will open mostly but It won’t close all the way. I broke a chopstick, bent a butter knife and jammed my finger trying to get it out. We accidentally knocked the door slightly off track trying to pull it to give us more room to get it out, that didn’t work. We tried to take the doors out of the door frame but the bolts are really stuck in there because this is a really old apartment. My landlord has to come today to try and take my doors off to get this stupid thing out of there. We were up most of the night trying to fix this. TLDR; Works perfect! Minus one star because when user error strikes a little bit, the result is incredibly irritating and honestly does the opposite of intended, as the door won’t close, or lock, but can open most of the way which is both inconvenient and possibly dangerous. We have to keep our cats in the living room with supervised bathroom breaks into the bedroom/bathroom because they can get through the gap, even though we tried to block it off. I know it’s my fault for not letting the adhesive cure for the full 48 hours or whatever but I didn’t think it would lead to this

Love them! Really secure! Didn't have our dogs outside without us knowing.. until we recently busted one (not sure how?) so I need to order more lol

Adult strength can break it but great for toddlers
This is great for keeping children in the house, but the bar did fall off after a couple of months from accidentally trying to open the door, but the bar still being up. Maybe I don’t know my own strength, ha! I have one more from the two pack I’ll use but once that falls off, I will probably try another brand to see if I can get one with a more sticky adhesive. Installation is easy. You hardly notice it visibly when it is on the sliding glass door. The size of it burglar bar is also nice and compact.

Perfect for our pantry sliding door
I wanted something that would deter my toddler from opening the sliding door of our kitchen pantry, but would still be very easy to open and close because we use it extensively while cooking and this work like a charm. The sticker is sturdy and hasn't flinched even when we forget it's there and slide the door into it. It's discreet since it's just clear plastic and very easy to use. I would recommend without hesitation.

So simple but really effective
We’ve fitted these to two sets of doors and they are great. Such a simple idea but really effective and can be fitted in seconds!

Does the trick
Great at stopping the window going up beyond a chosen point. Have found this falls off one of our windows wooden frame way too often though and I've had to purchase double sided tape to replace the sticker on this unfortunately.
