This pump, tubing and air stone set is terrific! Works GREAT!
I wanted an air pump and air stones for my pond. My pond consists of a partially buried 350 gallon stock tank, with a 20 gallon lined whiskey barrel waterfall, and a 55 gallon bio-filter. I mounted the air pump up high under my elevated deck, which is behind my pond. I made a shelf for the pump, drilled holes in that shelf for the electrical cord and tubing to route downwards. I also drilled additional holes under the pump for added ventilation. I placed a plastic shoe storage box upside down over the pump. I used four screws as "legs" to give the pump an added gap for ventilation while still giving it optimum protection from the elements. The hoses that are included are very nice quality. I ran these two hoses inside of 1/2" drip irrigation line and routed that parallel to the intake and outlet pipes for the bio-filter and buried all of the pipes. Running the air hoses inside of the drip irrigation line keeps the air hoses from getting pinched. For my specific need I then attached this drip irrigation line to a barbed fitting and that attached to 1/2" PVC pipe. I ran that pipe through the side of the stock tank through a 1/2" uniseal. The result is that the tubing is nice and safe inside of the drip irrigation line. It is buried. It is all HIDDEN. The pump is pretty quiet. It's not noticeable where I have it placed up under my deck. It's about 6 feet above the ground. The waterfall and my other water feature in the yard drown out any air pump sound. The pump puts out a decent amount of bubbles. My stock tank pond is two feet deep and the air stones are resting on the bottom. It's a good amount of aeration for this size of pond. I don't think that I would be impressed with this pump for a larger pond. This is really a large aquarium air pump. It's not going to do much for a large pond. For my purposes, which is about 375-400 gallons of total water volume, it is a perfect pump. If you have a BIG pond, you probably would be disappointed in this pump's performance. I doubt that it would produce much air if the air stones were in water more than two feet deep. Oh yeah, I thought I should mention that I ran this pump and air stones as a test BEFORE I installed it. There is NO difference in airflow after I installed it in the drip irrigation line and buried it. I thought some of you might think the performance was affected by my installation. It was not affected at all. To sum up: I am happy. I have a small pond. If you have a pond of 600+ gallons you would probably want to go with a more powerful set up. If your pond is in the thousands of gallons range then this pump would be very inadequate. I am 100% satisfied with this pump for MY size pond. When the pump dies I might replace it with this same one. We shall see. So far, so good...

Very quiet and good
This aeration kit work pretty good compared to the other that I got. It is not too big like some of the others out there. It also looks very nice too. It is very quiet.

Basically fool proof
I bought this aerator for our pond for winter time. We live in Indiana and the last winter was brutal with a lot of snow and frigid temperatures. I read a lot of reviews and ultimately decided to purchase this aerator because it comes with everything you need (back flow valve already installed, unlike other models -- who wants to have to make another purchase to make previous purchase usable?) and ample sized air stones. In some reviews people complained about the air stones flipping or not sinking, despite being weighted. My pond is only about 3 feet deep, and mine sank fine, I did have to watch them to make sure they didn't flip (and if they did they're easy to put them right side up) but I didn't have to add additional weight to them to keep them right side up, maybe that's because my pond isn't very deep, I don't know. I waited to write my review because I wanted to let my aerator run for several weeks to see how it would do. Like other reviews, I think it's silly it's not an "outdoor" aerator and has to be covered, but I set the pump on two bricks and used a small sterilite storage container with rocks on top, to cover it and keep it out of the elements. It's been running perfectly since the moment I plugged it in, and puts out ample air for my fish. We just had 6 inches of snow fall last night, and the pond has started to freeze and my aerator is still doing great. It was super easy to install by myself too, and the directions were very clear and tell you how to use the aerator specifically in winter time -- i.e., move the air stones from the bottom of your pond to half the depth of your pond. I'll update my review in the spring though to let you know how it did over our winter. I have been very impressed with the ease of use with this aerator, it's basically fool proof.

Stay as far away from this air pump as possible! (3 updates to this review)
I purchased 2 of this 4 outlet units for use in my aquaponics greenhouse. My system is smaller scale, and besides producing food, it's used as a relaxation environment next to the 2200 gallon tank that houses my koi. Had been having issues with aeration in the tanks so finally (after literally hours and hours of reading reviews) settled on the 4 outlets air pumps. Opened the packages.. Impressed with how well packed the were and organized in the box. Set the air stones to soaking in a gallon bucket of fresh, clean water. Left 24 hours. Pulled them out, attached the air lines (being careful to follow the flow direction on each line) and put them back in the bucket. Attached them to the air pump itself. Turned it on and immediately saw a profusion of bubbles in the bucket. PERFECT! The pump was SO quiet I couldn't believe it! I left in on to make bubbles in the soaking bucket for about 10 minutes, then turned everything off and placed the stones in my actual fish tank. Plugged the pump back in and it began aerating my fish. 10 minutes after setting it up in the actual tank, the pump suddenly became much LOUDER! Still making bubbles, but absolutely no longer "whisper quiet." Trying moving it around gently, figuring something inside was just loose. No good. Still loud. Unplugged it, left it sit a minute, plugged it back in.. Still loud. I purchased this set up for both it performance and the rave reviews about how quiet it is. Greatly impressed with it's air outflow.... Highly disappointed with how loud it is when it's operating. Completely destroys the peaceful ambiance of the greenhouse. I bought the second unit to use as aerators in my dep water float beds. Contemplating not even taking it out of the box out of fear it's going to start the same noise this one is making. Mailing the seller next UPDATE! Now..... The pump has quieted down to it's original decibel level of barely perceptible.. But an airstone has stopped producing bubbles. Only thing I can think of is the pump was defective to begin with, and whatever was starting to break inside of it that caused so much noise has finished breaking and now I only have airflow through three tones. VERY dissatisfied! :( Update! Amazon worked with me to get the pump replaced ASAP. The replacement pump has now been installed for 48 hours and is working quietly and efficiently. As it is supposed to. As usual.. Amazon stands by it's promises. Love me some Amazon. UPDATE (Latest and last.... :( ) Amazon stepped up and replaced one of the original 2 pumps I bought after it quit working properly right after originally installing it. Since then, BOTH the second originally purchased pump AND the one Amazon had sent as a replacement have gone from working well to working noisily to not working properly at all. The second original one went the route of the very first one in a few weeks, ending up with only 2 out of 4 working air stones. Yesterday the one Amazon sent as a replacement began humming very loudly and continued to do so for several hours until it finally quieted down, with again, only 2 of 4 airstones working. VERY discouraged by this experience. I use these to aerate my aquaponic system. They were all installed in the recommended fashion, protected from getting wet, using properly power levels, the whole nine yards. I will never buy anything from this manufacturer again. Poor to none on quality control. Today going into town to just buy a system from a local brick and mortar.

Essential Air for Ponds
This is an honest review of the Aquascape pond aerator with 2 air stones of which I have personally ordered and used several times over multiple years with my fish pond. Pros: Every healthy pond has water movement, which results in airflow. In my pond, I use a water fall combined with two of these kits, which keeps my fish lively and my pond clear. These aerators are very simple to use in that you simply connect the air tubes to the air stones and the machine, plug it in, and it works. There are no buttons. When plugged in, the air stones create bubbles that will keep your fish happy. Opportunities: The main reason I took away a star is durability. I’ve previously had the diaphragm go bad as well as the outer shell buzz louder, the older they get. You can order just the diaphragm, but there is no cure for the buzzing shell. The solution I eventually discovered was sealing the machine and electronics in an outdoor electrical box, which will greatly increase the lifespan. Overall: These are great aerators that add bubbles that keep your fish lively. The secret is pairing them with an electrical box. Otherwise, durability is questionable.

This is a great unit. Makes lots of bubbles!
Bought 2 unit aerator in August 2024. Been running all summers and thru winters to help keep ice hole open. Makes lots of small bubbles and fish love playing in the bubbles. I hide the unit under a fake fiberglass rock and it makes the unit very quiet and protects it.

Second one we bought first one lasted 3 to 4 years
I ordered the same aerator that I had before It lasted 3-4 years and is quite I use a 2 outlet one. It was alittle pricey but I hope it lasts just as long as our previous one. We run it 24 hours all year long.

Doesnt Last
This aeration pump lost all its power after just 2 months of use in an outdoor pond. The discs were cleaned as instructed in the company video with vinegar and a brush but that didn't help. There is no after-sales service of this product in India, nor do you get any spare parts, especially if you buy from STS Shop (seller) who refused to help. I bought this because i thought its a good brand but it couldn't even aerate my 3000 Litre tank. Instead, go for an Indian make or a Hailea pump.

Essential component to a pond in summer/winter
Our pond never had an aerator. I ordered this because I was worried about all the algae being produced and how it takes up oxygen. When using a pump to infuse oxygen into the water, the water gets oxygen by exposure to the air, but when the water goes back into the pond, it doesn't go to the deep parts of the pond. As soon as I put the aerators in, my fish started to swim around deeper. It really clears the water up too. We have a pretty big pond, maybe 800 gallons, and two of these seem more than sufficient. You can see all the bubbles at the surface continually moving outward in a spherical manner. The fish love to swim around the stream and even right through the stream. It's very quit too. I have had it running all winter. There was one time it got really cold and the aerator was not able to keep the pond from freezing over, so for people in cold climates, I would still keep a deicer in the pond. The product is pretty durable; I just keep it on a piece of brick near the pond with a plastic Tupperware container to house it, and it has held up in rain, snow, etc. This is the best way to give your fish oxygen - well except in the summer, having tons of plants is vital... but having this in my pond, I'm always rest assured that the fish will never suffocate or be stuck gasping for air at the surface constantly - by the way, if your fish come to the surface and leave a little trail of bubbles, then an aerator is a good idea. You can see the size of my pond in the pics. Update: I've now had the aerator for two and a half years. I should have brought it in for the super cold weather. It all held up pretty good but the plug went through a lot of wear and tear and eventually fell off. I'm hoping I can get a replacement. I think it's my fault though because I left it in negative thirty weather and it froze and cracked. Also one of the aerators froze and partially cracked. Just a warning to consider bringing it in for freezing weather conditions, and reinforcing the outlet part. The housing unit held up under like five feet of ice and snow so its a pretty damn good product.
