Not perfect for all jobs due to limited angles. But with a little enginuity & some shims, plus tape you can make it work on almost any angles. I needed 52°-53°. Added the tail of a shim with tape & used that all the way down the post to drill 10 holes at 3" apart. Once in place I clamped it to the post. I found that a right angle drill was easier to handle to drill the holes. Be sure to keep you bit a little small than the fixture hole. Part is solid, accurate & has held up well. Its in my drill tools waiting for the next job after being the template for 40-50 holes.

This thing is great, especially for small projects.

This worked perfectly for installing my horizontal deck cabling...made it very easy to line up, especially on the angles down. Highly recommend!
