I’ve always been impressed with ugreen’s build quality and value. This device feels very well thought out components all of good quality. Works perfectly and would completely recommend.

No frills - does what it advertises. It’s shell is fabricated from a lightweight plastic which is fine but lacks the premium feel of similar aluminium products if that’s what you appreciate.

I thought I had already done a review but I will have another go. The hub works well on iphone 17. I bought it to allow a USB microphone and USB earphone to be be used together. It worked straght away, easy. 2*USB-A USB and 2*USB-C USB ports allowed me to plug in a USB-A memory stick as well. The short cable was deliberately cosen to avoid tangle of cables. Low weight helped

Really good. Only criticism is that you can only use one port on the device at a time. So it's either use of a micro SD or full SD but not both at the same time. The USB C ports work fine.

I just wanted a hub to share the port on my iPad when travelling. Found it, this Ugreen hub with full 4 USB connection plus another for your main device plus another for PD (100W power in. The hub is not for charging other devices (other than your main one (at 85W) but it does provide power for peripherals (e.g SSD, card readers etc). So I can load photos from CF Express (or any other card readers) onto my iPad for editing / backup and then take a further backup onto a SSD or a portable NAS with just a couple of extra short / fast cables. And I still have a spare socket. Yes, its ‘only’ 10gbs per outlet my iPad is 40gbs but I suspect my peripherals are max 10gbs and that is very fast too. The entire device is very light so no problem for travelling (though the aluminium version is ‘better looking’ for your desk)!

Almost indispensable because of the limited number of ports on a Mac, and given the number of accessories probably an essential add on these days. Good fit and nicely sits just behind the computer, yet easily accessible to plug in or unplug accessories. No problem in functionality with the extras I use. Generally I download files direct from camera, and having extra ports makes that a lot easier. Good value indispensable item.

Terrible product. Very short cable. When connected to USB C on Computer the WD hard drive attached to the USB 3 inlet is not recognized as seen in first two pics.! Same hard drive connected to an old generic USB 2.0 Hub is recognized immediately as seen in last two pics. Not sure where the problem lies. Will be returned immediately.

It is really tough to find a reasonably priced USB-C hub that can handle data throughput and a reasonable amount of power delivery, but thanks to UGREEN, I found exactly what I needed. Here's the deal- it's a simple hub. In order to get power to the hub you need to meet one of two conditions: 1. The port you're expanding already supplies 100w of power. 2. Plug in an external 100w USB-C power supply into the PD-IN port of the hub. Due to the laws of, well, physics, you won't get that 100w at every port if you only plug in a single 100w power supply. Supplying more than 100w of power would also fry this board, because it's just not rated to handle that much current. Designing circuits to handle that much wattage is expensive, and it's why other hubs are so much more expensive than this. Now that being said, for my use case, this little hub is perfect. I run a sound card, a phone charger, and an arduino off of it. It provides just the amount of ports I need in a compact package to make my desk space much more organized. It's a simple hub that does the trick for simple tasks quite beautifully. Enjoy!
