Five stars. This latch isn’t just an overachiever. It’s the valedictorian of all door hardware. The moment I installed it, my sliding door straightened up like it had just been inspected by a four-star general. It clicked into place so confidently that even my dog paused like, “Whoa… we salute now?” It fit my Pella door perfectly and instantly transformed my once-wimpy patio slider into a fortress of mild suburban security. The wind no longer even tries to come in. It takes one look at this latch, whispers “not today,” and moves on to bully someone else’s house. The door stays shut so well I’m convinced this latch wakes up every morning, looks in the mirror, and says motivational things like “today I will exceed standards.” If this thing gets any more committed to its mission, I’m going to have to write it up for an award. Highly recommend. If Amazon sold a tiny medal, I’d pin it on this latch immediately.

Not exactly like my missing hardware but worked and installed easily enough

Needed to replace our Pella sliding door keeper and decided to try this one. Although it does fit into the door jamb and the screw holes nearly lined up, I needed to file out the screw holes slightly to get the door to lock properly. As other reviews have stated, having the adjustable screw holes on only two of the four holes doesn't really solve the issue if it doesn't line up exactly where you need it. Overall this is a good value for the money.
