A decent change from the other flavors, but a little harder texture.
A decent change from the other pure protein bars. I've been getting the variety packs for years. They are not the greatest tasting on the market, but for half the price and 20g protein, it's my go to. The taste is good, but they have a harder texture than other brand cookies and cream. Still 5 star for the price.

Tastes Like Chalky Playdough
Cookies and cream bar and chocolate caramel bar taste terrible. Has that chalky play dough taste. Many of you will lnow what I'm talking about. Imagine that taste, but even more bitter and sharp. The Chocolate caramel bar was a bit more bearable than the cookies and cream. Will not be purchasing again.

Finally—a Pure Protein Bar Without Nuts in the Ingredients
I buy these Pure Protein Cookies & Cream Bars for my son, and they’ve become his go‑to quick protein snack. They’re one of the few protein bars that don’t contain peanuts or tree nuts directly in the ingredients, which is a huge plus since he’s allergic. Many other Pure Protein bars use whey and nut-based proteins, so finding this flavor has been a relief. The label does note that they’re made in a facility that also processes peanuts and tree nuts, but that hasn’t caused any issues for him—he’s had zero reactions. Still, it’s always important to double‑check ingredients on any protein bar, since so many rely on whey, nuts, or soy, which can be challenging for people with food allergies. With only 4g of sugar, these bars are a low‑sugar option that keeps him full between meals and helps him avoid grabbing chips or other snacks. They’ve been a great fit for his needs.
