I normally work on three screens, and that can be cumbersome when traveling so I thought this would be a great option for my ThinkPad. Once I got it to work, it works well. For optimum ease of use, you really need two USB C ports, ThinkPad has only one and the USB A ports don't offer video output so.... It took me a moment to realize that I needed to hook up the left monitor with the USB C to USB C connection, and then the right side with the USB C to USB A and also the USBC C to HDMI connectors. Now, for most people that isn't complicated. For me, a 54 year old technology impaired person, it took a hot minute. Now that it's all working like it should? I love it. The transition from screen to screen is smooth the graphics are great (to my untrained eye) and over all this will greatly impact my productivity while on a working vacation. All the cables you need come with it (2 of each- USB C to USB C; USB C to HDMI and USB C to USB A). They come with a handy travel case and I will say that these screens weigh as much, if not more than my ThinkPad does. I was surprised by that, but it's not an issue. I don't know why I thought it would, but it doesn't really attach to your laptop screen, it sits directly behind it--not a negative at all, more of an FYI. The only negative, and it really is more of a personal preference, but the design is such that if you have the screens pulled in too far, there is a notice able angle to the screens--they stick up higher on the outsides than on the inside of the screen--sort of angle up and for me, that makes it a bit odd, but again not really a negative as leaving them mostly open nullifies that issue. If you made it this far then it is only fair that I let you know that I did reach out to the seller for assistance with set up 7 days ago. As of yet, I have not received a reply. It was shipped quickly and was packed well but if you are looking for any type of assistance, the seller is not responsive. Hope all this helps someone :)

I had the older model of this screen extender, and just updated to this new slimmer version and I love it! Overall the portal screen extender (any of their models) are so useful and great quality, but this new lightweight is really a game changer. Laptop is already heavy, so the fact this extender is so thin and lightweight is a 10/10 for me. So easy to set up, just plug it in and it's ready. I am ALWAYS being asked about it when people see me in public or at the airport using it, I would absolutely recommend getting this one. Customer support is also super helpful and quick at responding with any questions.

I love my new portable office! The two monitors are high quality and full-size. They are light weight, easily packable, and travel easily in my work bag. I can now work at full efficiency when out of the office for meetings. The set up is relatively simple, but my laptop only has one USB-C port, which means I have to use three cords to plug them in. My only suggestion for improvement would be to reduce the number of cords and set up time required. It takes me about five minutes to get set up. Overall, great value for the money.

This laptop screen extender has been an awesome addition to my WFH setup or anytime I need an extra screen while traveling. I use it for both my personal Mac and work PC. I had an older model from this same company and this new one is incredibly lightweight in comparison. It also comes with a nice traveling case and pocket for its cords. Would definitely recommend!

When working remote, I have a setup at home with two big monitors. However, this is a lot to carry while traveling (or may not even be possible for flights). For these times, the laptop screen extender is valuable. It is easy to carry around, fits multiple extension types and multiple sizes of laptops.
