This modern looking mailbox is very heavy duty has an outside plastic lip that prevents the water from coming in from high rains. Metal is thick and rust resistant and is super easy to install. I did it myself.

This is just what I wanted. Not easy to install. The grommets were mostly impossible to push into the holes for them. The handle for the mail carrier had the tiniest screws and were hard to get to. I like the lock, which is pick proof. The box is very heavy, which is good for security, but difficult to mount. I put a table against the wall and piled books until I got it in the right place. Also, the masonry bit was too small to make holes to accommodate the anchors. The anchors are ridiculously large. I had to redrill the holes with a larger bit after piloting the holes with the bit provided. Other than that, it is a wonderful mailbox!

This is the only lockbox we use as landlords. It’s very sturdy, professional and easy and to install. Highly recommend for property owners!

I was having a problem with mail missing...especially Christmas & birthday cards. So I decided that I needed a security mailbox. I bought this one because of its great security features & also because it was narrow enough to fit where my old mail box had been. But I receive a lot of mail and flyers. So I was concerned that my ever-changing, training route mail carriers might not be able to fit everything in it, and would leave stuff sticking out of the top. But they almost always put my personal mail in first. Then, if they need to add flyers, too, those might be partially sticking out of the top, which doesn't matter, since my personal mail can't be phished out once it's down inside the box. I just love that feature! Hooray...No more missing mail, or mail keys either, since I received a generous supply of keys with this box, too! It's been worth every penny to me & I highly recommend it.

It's a sturdy product. Some of the pieces described on the instruction booklet were not included in the shipment. There is a plastic rain blocker, however if it's not placed under a roof, the rain can get inside. the box somehow.

Thief proof as any can be and attractive. Good value, waterproof, easy to install. Good size.

Keeps weather out, slot is small enough where no hands can get to mail or items inside, sturdy and well made! Looked for a long time before finding the right one. Totally happy and would definitely buy again!

We purchased the mailboss about 2.5 years ago after our old, very expensive mailbox door was literally ripped off our storefront wall by a vandal. Our shop is on a very busy street and the attempts to get at our mail has increased dramatically the past couple of years. I’ve seen ppl on our security cam try to pry it open with all sorts of tools and I’ve even seen someone literally hang off of it in an attempt to use their weight to pry open the door to no avail. lol. Just recently I couldn’t get the key to turn the lock and I called customer service and firstly, someone answered the phone and calmly gave me some initial suggestions on how to open it and when that didn’t work they patiently explained how to drill it out for replacement. It is one heck of lock so it took some time to get it open and I called Mailboss 4 times just to make sure I was doing it correctly and every person I spoke to was knowledgeable and patiently courteous. How rare is that these days?!! I was able to get the lock open after following their advice and inside I found a long and very sturdy steel bar that the last vandal had given up after trying to use it to open the mailboss and while he managed to damage the lock he wasn’t able to get it open. lol. (On an aside, we have nothing really valuable in our mail so I’m not sure what this guy was looking for but it’s still pretty satisfying to see that he was thwarted yet again even it did sacrifice the lock). I ordered a replacement lock which was reasonably priced (yay!). The mailboss itself still looks brand new. No rust and I think would possibly survive Armageddon. This is a superior product backed by personable and knowledgeable customer service . Get immediately. :).
