HP7 LED Torch - Pure Beam Focusing System

This is a great flashlight. I can't attest to the actual lumen count, but it's plenty bright for small flashlight. I use it heavily and the battery life is very good - up to two hours, although obviously intensity of the beam diminishes over time. I recently dropped mine (no lanyard attached) in a nasty sewer drain that was clogged down line and had nasty drain cleaners in it. Once the standing water cleared, we were able to fish it out by grabbing the very generously-sized lanyard hole with a treble fish hook on the end of a long dowel. The light was still shining after two hours and had proven water tight. It cleaned up nicely, was fitted with new batteries and is back in service. The lock on the focusing mechanism isn't really strong, and it broke soon after I got it. That's not a big problem, there'a a lot of stiction in the mechanism so it still works well enough for me. I suppose that if I cared enough, I would send it back under the lifetime warranty. I would recommend this light to anyone I know, as long as it meets their basic requirements for size and power. This one from Amazon came in a very nice presentation box that would be suitable for gift giving. It came with a sheath and lanyard, as well as batteries.

Great light. Replacing one I had for years and was lost. These are my got to lights for work and home.

Amazing product, have been using it during night treks and has been invaluable for all emergency purposes. The controllable throw of the beam is the best aspect of the design a long with the ruggedness. Will recommend this any one who needs a powerful flashlight with replaceable batteries.
