how long to they last

I've only had mine for about 5 weeks, but I can tell you I have not changed the blade yet. Still plenty sharp.

Bought mine a month ago and the lotion is leaking and then the rubber top gets stuck to the shelf - anyone else have this problem?

Yes. Venus refills are the worst. Venus handles also click into Mach 3 blades, so I use those instead. None of the garbage “safety” features of the Venus blades that actually cause more nicks on my skin and stick to the shower shelf.
