Present Time Karlsson Calender Clock Big Flip Silver 43 x 43 cm, KA4202

Bought this clock to replace a very similar clock we had by the London Clock Company. It sercumed to the same problem as some of your reviewers. Engine failure!!! No chance of a repair. These clocks are very expensive and you have to really love them to pay the price. Which we do. We have had clocks from poundland that have far outlasted these expensive clocks but obviously not as good looking. This is a case of you get what you pay for in reverse. Despite knowing this clock will not last for many years we still love it.

We bought this Karlsson clock in 2012 for a cost of £157.99.It had worked fairly well until recently when the automatic day/date change mechanism would not change but just made a sound like a woodpecker hammering at a tree. We contacted Amazon who told us to contact Karlsson (the manufacturer). We did and they sent us an electronic copy of the set up instruction. Those instructions did not cover the problem that we were experiencing. We again e-mailed Karlsson explaining the situation. They ignored us. We then contacted Amazon and told them that we were not happy with the breakdown of this quite expensive clock after a fairly short span of time, and that it had in the great scheme of things cost us £1 per week to use this clock so far. Amazon were very good with this issue and gave us a refund of £50 as a good will gesture, which we greatly appreciate. We again e-mailed Karlsson to ascertain whether a repair could be made to the clock and the following is their reply to us. Thank you for your email, We don’t have a repair department. Karllsson did just not want to know, so our very expensive, relatively new (in the expectancy of the clock functioning for many years), is now just a piece of worthless plastic with absolutely no hope of getting it repaired or replaced. We will definitely never buy a Karlsson clock again and would advise any other potential buyers to think long and hard about the pitfalls of owning a Karlsson clock. Buyer be aware! Karlsson is also known as Present Time.

Item arrived in an acceptable time, unfortunately quite a few bits had dropped of in transport so I had to take it apart reassemble it and now the date doesn't appear to flip automatically. Other than that its perfect!

Arrived damaged, Wish I had checked it before giving it as a birthday present 😟 opened this morning 16 June 2020. I’ll review again when I get a replacement. Update... issued with a refund immediately... I will reorder and hope for the best.

A lot of money spent on an item that goes kaput after 2 yrs. The main part of the clock doesn't work anymore with only the time part working as it's a separate part. I guess I'm not eligible for a return either as it's more than one year.

I am very pleased with this clock i found it easy to set up if you follow the instructions in sequence A very large clock face for easy reading I would say the price is a bit high

I returned the clock as it was not working properly and there is nobody to help you fix it

The clock looks great on the wall, remember to buy the batteries thou!

L'horloge est très jolie, mais alors le prix n'est vraiment pas justifié, elle semble très fragile, elle est tout en plastique souple. je ne recommande pas ce produit pour le coup même si le rendu est chouette.

This clock is big and AMAZING! I mounted in on our kitchen wall, and it's the perfect statement piece. It's exactly what I was looking for. Perfectly retro. I get so many compliments on it. HIGHLY recommend.

Ich wollte die Uhr trotz ihrer schlechten Bewertungen sehr gerne haben, weil Design und Funktion wirklich einmalig sind. ich wollte die Rezensionen nicht wahrhaben und wurde eines Besseren belehrt. Die Uhr kam sehr schlecht verpackt und defekt an. Die Tages und Monatsfunktion geht nicht. Alles ist in billigster Plastikmanier aufgebaut. Ich musste die Uhr daher zurücksenden. Schade.

Ottimo orologio, ho preso quello di grandi dimensioni che consiglio vivamente per chi lo vuole appendere in un ambiente abbastanza grande, per una stanza entro i 15 mt la versione piú piccola puó essere sufficiente (ma io non l’ho comprata). Buona fattura estetica, la plastica è di buona qualità e le rifiniture sono ottime. 2 torcia per alimentare i meccanismi delle palette (non particolarmente rumorosi, ma eviterei le camere da letto) più una stilo per l’orologio.Io ho acquistato il color argento, avrei voluto il bianco ma non era disponibile, è ben verniciato. Io lo ho appeso, è sufficiente un tassello con vite che lo aggancia in modo stabile e sicuro grazie all’incastro della testa della vite nel vano predisposto.Un po’ caro, circa 250 euro, ma se durerà i 20 anni del suo predecessore saranno stati ben spesi.

puntuale integro senza intoppi , solo il colore non era quello giusto ma non grave , soddifatto consigliato come orologio da muro
