Took the place of 4 adapters. A must for security camera systems
Bought one of these for my security cameras. I have a system of 8. Had 4 adaptors with splitters before. I was able to free up 3 additional plugs on my power strip. Has ample power to run all 8 and had a spare plug to run the DVR. Great value and looks more organized on shelf now. Seems to be made of high quality material. Works with anything 12 volts and fit perfectly behind DVR. Really cleaned up my shelf which was so cluttered before.

Good upgrade for lower power 4 channel camera power adapters
I starting having issues with my cameras getting distorted video when I added 3 more cameras to my system. I had two small wall warts that had four channels, but it seems they could not cut it. This single adapter has twice the power output of both of the small wall warts combined and that seemed to solve my camera corruption issue - all 8 now work as expected.

My security cameras are working again!
My security cameras are working again! I was down to only 1 camera showing any signs of life and it was flashing. It was really hot so I didn't know at first if it was the heat causing the issue or something else but when it cooled down, the cameras didn't get better. The alphabet AI gods said it was likely the power supply and to replace it so I did with this power supply. It replaced one of this brand that was purchased in 2017 so I suppose I got my money's worth. The old one had a lower amperage but the AI gods said that the increase would be better and so far no issues. All 8 cameras are bright and recording again. I probably should have replaced the old supply months ago.

Good power supply for Lorex cameras
I needed to replace camera power supplies on a Lorex surveillance system. This set up allows me to power up to nine cameras at a time from one laptop style brick power supply. It really simplifies the wiring and gives adequate power even for long cable runs to cameras.
