Mine is about 40cm across. The pieces are between about 3cm for the lawns to about 6cm for the king and queen. It's a nice size to play on a coffee table, and ha a really satisfying "woody" feel to it. I hope you have as much fun with it as we've had with ours ! Ps - only drawback is rule book would be nice, as we've had to make up our own rules about how pieces traverse the divide in the board. Maybe something for the manufacturer to address more clearly? Doesn't take away he fun though.
