Tosa Binchotan Charcoal Water Purifying Sticks for Great-Tasting Water, 6 Sticks - Each Stick Filters Personal-Sized Water Bottle

I went from drinking so little water that I was chronically dehydrated to easily downing 1.5L daily, practically overnight. I've also taken to adding a few drops of trace minerals, and there's such a marked difference in taste and mouthfeel: the water tastes clean. I feel great drinking this filtered water. My doctor is happy to see my sodium levels within a healthy range. This product is simple to use, effective, affordable, and doesn't generate much waste. They aren't crumbling or disintegrating; their durability is to be noted. When I refill my jug, I can actually see bubbles rising from the sticks as they filter the liquid. This fulfills such a huge need: the need to drink clean water. I am so happy this was accessible to me.

I bought these to put in a 2.5 gallon water reservoir. I actually haven't put them in yet. But in past experience I found that one stick worked in 2 QT cat fountain for about a month.

The qualities to be rated are Presentation, Easy to drink from, and easy to use. Let's start with presentation, I personally don't care what others think about me having a stick in my water bottle, so presentation 5 stars. Next is Easy to use. Well if you can't drop a stick in a jug... don't get this 5 stars. Next up is Easy to Drink From. I don't have any problems not swallowing a stick but again, if you do, don't get ? 5 stars. I will be purchasing more. Follow the boil directions & put your stick water in the frig. In the morning pour a cup of stick water & a cup of tap water, taste both. You will be asking yourself how on earth did you ever drink that tap water!

Each piece was much much thinner/skinnier than expected.

It does seem to do it's job of filtering water, however this particular brand falls apart in my water bottle a lot more than the last brand that I bought, Kishu. Other than that it is just as great though!

Honestly can not wrap my head around how good this makes our tap water taste! I'm a complete believer in this charcoal! We, technically, don't use it as recommended because we use the entire package for our water cooler (like you'd typically find in an office) because they're the only ones that fit through the opening. The sink hookup filters, my reverse osmosis system, the refrigerator's built-in filter--none of it holds a candle to just placing these sticks in the water bottle!

No plastic container with a plastic housing around something designed to help you NOT use plastic. My Britta filter container was plastic and I used to purchase the insert/filter that was plastic . Then my model Britta was no longer made. Forced me to look at buying another plastic newer model. Got fed up. Wanted less waste and something earth friendly. Placed these in my stainless steal containers. Love them. This box had smaller, shorter sticks than my other order. Better for individual water bottles

I add this to the resevoire of my filter pitcher and it makes my water taste great. I aldo add one to my cat's water fountain.

Advert states stick can be used for three months, box states up to two. Quite a big difference. I've used various sticks of various brands and always found them to improve the flavour of our hard tap water - I expect these to be just as good.
