All Satellite Systems + Multi-band: Up to 38 hours (30 hrs always-on)
All Satellite Systems + Music: Up to 17 hours
Max Battery GPS: Up to 145 hours
Expedition GPS: Up to 27 days

Are calories calculated?

Depending on what accessories are used with the watch, calories burned during a recorded activity will be calculated with one of the below:

NOTE: Some older Garmin products feature New Leaf as a means to calculate calories burned. This feature would hold precedence over the below methods however Garmin no longer supports New Leaf profiles.

Firstbeat - calculated using heart rate user profile data.

To learn more about Firstbeat and the technology used in Garmin devices, visit the Firstbeat Analytics website and select a feature.

Power Meter - calculated using instantaneous power.

Fitness Equipment - calculated using ANT+ enabled fitness equipment.

Speed, Distance, and User Profile - calculated using speed, distance, and user profile data.

The device will automatically choose the appropriate method. There will be slight variations depending on the method used.

The epix Pro (Gen2) Sapphire has a water rating of 10 ATM. It withstands pressures equivalent to a depth of 100 meters and is suitable for 	splashes, rain or snow, showering, swimming, diving into water, snorkeling, high-speed water sports,

It is not scuba compliant.
