Hi, please refer to the instructions in the listing for 'How to choose the right height walking stick', this will tell you the handle height for the walking stick that is needed. This walking stick H87115 is height adjustable between: 71-96.5cm (28-38"), so if your measurement is in that range it will suit :) I am copying the information below for you, regards NRS Healthcare Team How to choose the right height walking stick 1. Get a friend ready to measure you (if you measure yourself, you may lean over and skew the measurement!) 2. Wearing your normal shoes, stand facing forward with feet shoulder width apart. 3. With your arms held naturally at your sides, measure from the floor to your wristbone. This measurement is the one you need for the handle height of your walking stick.

How much does the stick weigh?

The Walking Stick weighs 510gms,I hope this will be of help to you.

What is the smallest length it reduces to (for packing)?

The smallest length is 2'4'' (two feet four inches).

Is this the old fashion sturdy walking stick as opposed to newer version flimsy aluminium?

Do not know if it’s old or new but I am 21stone and use 1/2 of these daily never a problem.
