CURT 13223 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2-Inch Receiver, Compatible with Select Mitsubishi Montero, Black

I ordered this unit for my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The fit and finish of the unit is quality. The hitch unit fit my vehicle with additional drilling. One I removed the existing tow hook I installed the hitch myself. I will say some PB Blaster on the existing fasteners and a breaker bar or impact wrench will come in handy. The spare tire had to be dropped for installation and has just enough room to be reinstalled in the factory configuration.

Pros: Easy insulation Comes with hardware Very sturdy There is only one con that I could put out there that is vehicle specific and that would be... If you have a spare tire that's underneath the car go for more of a rounded instead of the square. Personally I made it work, snug fit. I would advise whom ever to check your make, model and do your research it to see it will work for you, as mine was the only one available in the amount of time given before camping trip. Fyi my 4 year old Reese was filled with cancer after always doing my best to maintain it, choose wisely.

The build quality on this product is awesome.. as soon as i pulled it out of the box i was impressed. You could tell it wasn't thrown together by some first time welder. The packaging was good so it didnt get damaged in shipping. not that i would think it could as its so fricking beefy. it came with all the bolt you would need to mount it and a instruction manual with pics. very easy install. took me about 30 minutes.. the hardest part is holding it up while putting in the first bolts.. (I did it alone but i recommend a helper) I havent attached a trailer to it yet. but i have no concerns.
