Two mouse installation attempt
My application was to connect two mouses to my security camera system NVR. I used an Ethernet to USB adapter* to extend the USB from the server rack about 80 feet to a monitor in another room connected by an HDMI to Ethernet extender.** (This works well btw) Since that left me with no mouse at the main unit, I tried this splitter which unfortunately didn't work. I had full use of one mouse but the other would only work with the buttons - no movement. I considered trying this before going with a different kind of KVM switch which will be my next choice. I know I can find something at a reasonable price even if it might require a manual switch. To be clear, I only took off one star since I knew there was a chance it wouldn't work but for the price it was a good experiment. I will be keeping these for other uses, like power splitters and they actually did work to connect two mouses to my laptop so it's probably something in the operating system of the NVR that doesn't work rather than this product.
