Best company to by a bread mix from. Great product. I wish they still sold the rye mix too

I like bread mixes from this company, as they taste good, and are have less junk in them, but they are over priced, as are all the bread mixes from all the other companies. Any bread you have to make yourself should cost less per loaf than an already made one from the supermarket. ALL of the bread mixes I've seen are a lot more per loaf than the ones from the supermarkets. I have a relative who has been using his bread machine to make them up for me, as my old machines broke a while ago, and I haven't replaced it yet. I'm not sure I want to, as long as I have to pay more for a mix than I do for.a ready made loaf. I do like the bread mixes from Bob's Red Mill, but even though they are cheaper than most of the other brands out there, they are still over priced. If that's not an issue for you, then I do recommend this product.

We had to check the online Redmill website to get the bread maker recipe. For some reason, nobody is producing bread maker mix packages anymore. However, this worked! The bread was delicious. It needs a little more flavor, however; my husband added 2 tablespoons of honey, and it could’ve used 3 or 4.

Good taste but not worth $9.00 per loaf! The Bread Maker machine instructions are no longer on the package. Via Bob's web site: Ingredients 1 ¼ cups warm Water, about 110°F 1 pkg 10 Grain Bread Mix 3 Tbsp Oil (or other oil) Yeast Packet (included) locate and remove before baking Instructions Pour warm water into machine. Then add mix, oil and contents of the yeast packet. Set machine to basic white bread or medium setting and bake according to manufacturer's instructions.

This bread was super delicious, and definitely worth the time and energy I put into in the end. Although I don’t eat a ton of bread in general, I wanted something with whole grain and fresh occasionally if I do have it. I do not have a bread maker either. What you need is the time to baby sit the dough for several hours. It involves 3 separate rise times/kneading for a total of about 3 plus hours then the additional 30-40 minutes of baking. You also have to thoroughly cool it on a rack. So it is a long process, but if you enjoy the process it’s not a big deal, you just need to dedicate yourself to it. I’m a fairly experienced baker, but I imagine if I wasn’t, I might get a bit overwhelmed with the long list of instructions? That’s possible-any pretty experienced baker this would be easy. Delicious bread. Just would only make it once in awhile. Glad I got a 2 pack of it!
