This is a great value for the cost. I love this clipper set and used it several times and still working great. Only suggestion that I would have is if they could make a carrying case to go with it to keep all the bits together. Absolutely would recommend this product and have; as well as I would buy it again.

Got it today. Charged up in a few hours. Cut both dogs one after the other. I can’t remember the last time I cut them at the same time. It usually is torture so I end up doing one at a time and then don’t get to the other dog for a few weeks because I’m dreading it.. But this thing is a winner so far! It’s way lighter, quieter, and easier to maneuver than what I was using before (clippers for humans, which may or may not need a new blade. Not sure). This is simple to operate. The comb worked better than I thought it would. However the scissors seemed pretty bad. I did try them and they cut about 1/2inch of fur before getting stuck and bending the hair, twice. I’m a hair stylist and have good scissors, so I just used those instead. If you don’t have hair or fur scissors, I’d say this product is 4 stars because the scissors didn’t seem to work at all. But for me, this kit has what I need and is way better than what I was using before. Now I just hope it lasts for more than a few trims.

This is a basic home grooming kit. It's terrific for using in between appointments or basic trimming needs. I use on my cats, so I can't speak to using on a dog with course hair. What I will tell you is that I was impressed with the length it lasted before I had to charge; the noise level DID NOT freak them out like many of the others, I like the size - it's easy to hold and easy to use - even with my arthritic hand and it's more lightweight than most including my professional Oster.Having said that, the scissors/comb were unusable in my opinion, but I have professional scissors, so I didn't need them. I don't remember if the oil was completely filled or not - yes, someone mentioned that in a review for a $14 grooming kit.All in all, I LOVE this kit. As long as you understand you probably won't be able to groom your Spoo every 4-6 weeks with it, I strongly recommend it!! 🐾

I have a doodle and had purchased a more expensive brand name clippers before this. I purchased this on a lightening deal and thought it would be a nice back up. Well, I use this as my main one now. It is powerful, slices through the fur like butter and is cord free. Wonderful machine with extras (scissors, nail trimmer, guards, comb etc) included! Would purchase again.

They r super quiet shave very well and light weight

Clippers work fairly well but the plastic guards are quite useless (get tangled in both my dogs hair - a maltipoo and a terrier cross). Good for little touch ups or an all over short hair shave. The scissors that come with the kit really don't cut very well, but for the price I guess you can't expect alot.

Love the clippers and the included attachments. The scissors are not as great but I love the comb. I would recommend cleaning the guards first. I did not and my pup got little bumps on his tummy. For the price it’s great for me as a beginner. Easy to hold, simple to use and great for a small dog.

This is a great grooming set considering the relatively low price. My dog is on immunosuppressive drugs and can no longer go to the groomer for fear of him catching something. He desperately needed a haircut, but I didn't want to invest too much money on clippers since I didn't know how long I'd have to groom him myself (or if it's even something I'd be able to do). For less than the price of one visit to the groomer, I bought these clippers and a set of scissors. I've never used clippers before, but these were really easy to use. They were pretty quiet and quite comfortable to hold and use from different angles. I love that it's cordless and allows me to groom my dog outside. I was worried the blade would get hot, but it stayed cool the whole time I was using it. I have a 20 lb cockapoo with wavy, fine hair, but there's a lot of it. These clippers worked well on him, although I did need to make a few passes sometimes to get through all the hair. I did have to stop fairly often to pull hair out of the guide comb and brush hair out of the blade, but it wasn't a big deal for me. Sometimes the clippers did get a little stuck going through his fur, but that's because he had a tangle. As long as I combed through his fur well and the blade/comb wasn't clogged with fur, it worked great. I thoroughly clean and oil the clippers every time I'm done using it (I find an old toothbrush works better than the little brush that was included). The included directions didn't give very good instructions on how to do this, but there are a number of videos on You Tube that show you how.The accessories that came with the kit were not too bad. I love the comb. The tips were rounded with no sharp edges and worked great for detangling my dog. The nail clippers felt a bit cheap, but they cut cleanly. The straight scissors was okay. I haven't used the other accessories yet.The negative things about these clipper are: 1) I wish there were other guide combs that would allow me to trim my dog's fur just a little bit shorter (I'm too nervous to use the clippers without the guide comb), 2) The directions that came with the kit are not very clear, and 3) I found the company's website to be a little "iffy". I typed in the website listed on the instructions for registering your warranty - it didn't work, so I googled the company name and eventually found the warranty page. When I went to register my warranty - it said it I would receive an email confirmation, but I didn't (I registered again just to make sure I didn't enter my email address wrong, but still no confirmation was received). Also, when I clicked on their website to see what other products they have, I got an error message saying the page wasn't working (I tried several times on different days from different computers and got the same error message). I just hope if I ever need to contact the company that I'll be able to get through to someone and that this isn't some bogus company.Overall, I think if your dog is small or medium sized and you don't need heavy duty clippers, these are a great buy. I think I did a pretty good job considering I've never groomed a dog before. I'm happy with my purchase.
