Works Great On The Steamdeck
Well, up until a few days ago, I had no idea that Sandisk made 1.5TB cards. I bought this a few days back, and it arrived on the same day. I put it straight into my Steamdeck, and it worked no problems. Formatting took a while, but it's a seriously meaty card, disk space wise. After formatting, you will end up with a total of 1.3TB useable disk space. Up until recently, I only had a 256GB NVME in my Steamdeck. If you have a low amount of NVME storage space, a card this size adds some much needed capacity to the Steamdeck. At the minute, my Steamdeck sits at 4TB storage space. I have one of these cards installed into it's internal MicroSD Card Reader, a 2TB Western Digital NVME, which I installed about 2 weeks ago, replacing the 256GB one that I used previously, and a 512GB Samsung Evo which is read via an external USB C Hub which I have magnetised to the back of my deck, which is recognised by Steam in gaming mode. While it is true that the read / write speed for the card is slow, compared to an A2 class card, the storage space that it adds to the deck is immense. Mortal Kombat 11 took a bit of time to load, but once it had loaded, the performance was the same as if I was using any other MicroSD Card. What is so nice about having access to all the space however, is the fact that you should never have to keep swapping MicroSD Cards out, particularly if you only have a small selection of games on Steam. I can probably install all of my Steam games on to my Steamdeck now, without ever having to swap MicroSD cards out to try another game. I can just dump my games on the three drives that I use now, and just leave all of them there, whether they are large AAA games like the Hitman Series, or small indie games like Beat Hazard 3. I would honestly recommend that Steamdeck owners purchase one of these cards irrespective of whether or not they have a large capacity NVME, such as 1TB or above, or if they have a lower capacity NVME anywhere between 64GB to 512GB. Think of it this way, your turning a 256GB Steamdeck into almost 2TB, using this card, which is more than enough room for installing a handful of AAA games, and a good amount of smaller indie games. The, your turning a 1TB or 2TB NVME into a full fledged gaming system by adding one of these cards. 2.5 - 3.5TB, even without an external USB C hub, is still more disk space than what some desk top gaming PC's have. I will issue a single word of warning. These cards can be terribly flimsy. They do need to be handled with care. Once you install one into your SteamDeck, if you can, leave them there. If you intend to tinker with your SteamDeck, ALWAYS make sure that you remove the MicroSD card first, before taking the back off. Otherwise, your system will spit the MicroSD Card out of the SD Card slot, and it will bend the head of the MicroSD card. I've only done that once, on a 1TB card, forgetting to remove it, before taking the back off, and it ruined the card, as well as £100 of hardware. The ONLY downside is the price. Honestly, I can't complain.

Good Solid Card - Full 1.5Tb (tested)
I bought this Micro SD card a little over a year ago and was very suspicious of the price (£80 at the time) but upon receipt I tested it properly over 72 hours using some basic read/write software and it's definitely kosher - full 1.5Tb (1.42 formatted). It's not the fastest drive in the world, but for my use-case (it's currently sat in my Fiio M21, absolutely stuffed to the gunwales with music) it hasn't missed a beat. I'm not sure how good it would be in the most demanding of video cameras but I wasn't looking for super-fast storage, so your mileage may vary. At todays prices (£142 as of this review) I would hesitate to spend so much on this card, but if you absolutely have to have a terabyte and a half of Micro SD storage then this little puppy is definitely worth a look. If I recall correctly, it arrived well packed and in reasonably quick time - I would definitely use this seller again, but I'm going to wait for a while for the prices to get back to reasonable [if they ever do... :/] The only advice I would ever give is this: TEST IT FIRST!!! - there's loads of free software out there which although slow, will do the job thoroughly (I used h2testw). Don't take anybody's word that it is what they say it is, the world is full of so many convincing looking fakes that you may be trusting your precious experiences to a 32Gb card dressed as a 2Tb one (I've actually got one at home) - and if you're not careful you'll lose the lot as soon as the camera/phone overwrites one byte more than that... These guys though - I've used them for a good few years and... so far so good (I still test the cards tho...) :) Good Luck, and remember - just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you...

Failed After Only 9 months.
I bought this 1.5TB card on 8th Sep last year (2024). I only use it in my Astell & Kern Kahn Alpha. I installed the card, filled it with music and until this week it has been perfect. Now 9 months later, almost to the day, the card can't be read. By anything. I have never removed it, or exposed it to anything egregious but here we are. As a seasoned professional I haven't lost any data as I have 3 separate backups of this card, but that's not the point. I dug out the old 1TB card which this one replaced and it still works perfectly in everything, and I bought that in 2021. So what do I do, buy another 1.5TB card and potentially throw £99 down the drain, as well as the original £115 it cost last September, or spend £180 on a 2TB card ? Choices choices

Good but…
It’s a good memory card which works well in my Nintendo Switch and is reliable, but I’m a little disappointed at the actual amount of usable memory on the card. It’s supposed to be 1.5 Terabytes of memory, but it only shows up as 1.3 Terabytes which is significantly lower than the advertised size. I understand that usable memory can be slightly smaller than advertised, but a whole 200 Gigabytes is a bit much.

SanDisk 1 5TB ultra
Bought in September 2024 at 107£ then August 2025 But sadly prices Are rising across all SD cards with any decent storage amount capacity sizes. I bought 2 of these both genuine both at different prices over the last year. Card genuine been using this one for over a year in a DAP. They have been good for me

Wow!
I am using this as an extra media storage with my MacBook Pro, I bought an adapter that hides this inside the body of the laptop, it took me one day to copy the libraries into the card, the write speed is slow 25mbs, read speed is about 90mbs, so no issues I loading small files or accessing them, searching is SSD speed. I will be reading data off this drive mostly and I am super happy that I don’t need to update my laptop and pay Apple tax. Btw, it shows as 1.5tb on the Mac, currently I have 1.35 and did not notice any decline in performances. Very good purchase if you know its limitations….
