Great case and well worth the price!
Bought this for my daughter to transport her electrolysis machine back and forth to the salon. Works great and even has extra room for some accessories.

Baggage Handlers and TSA Can’t Destroy This One
Well let’s start with use. I am a traveling Automotive FSE and I carry 60-80lbs of tools. Let’s just say I had other cases from well known big brands and Airline Baggage Handlers would always find a way to destroy them. I opted this time for Nanuk and a larger size to prevent tossing and shot-putting of the case from Plane to Tug/Cart. Now it is scratched and dinged but I travel every week 1600 Miles + and I expected that but the well thought out latches and TSA lock pass throughs help prevent unintended opening and lid damage.Pros:1. Wheels and collapsing handle for ease of long airport travel walking. Extending handle is long enough to support staking duffle bag, backpack or carryon bag on top and pull behind2. Latches and 3 stage clasping open/closed3. Option to retrofit Nanuk TSA Latches for more security + locking lid to case eyelets4. Self retracting side handles that tuck away automatically5. Reinforced belly pan/shield6. Auto pressure valveCons:1. Cool case colors cost more $$$

Very nice hard case for air travel
Purchased this hard case to transport sensitive equipment by airplane. This case is very well made and kept my equipment safe during transit. It is rather bulky and somewhat heavy but as long as what you have fits and doesn't put it overweight, it works. Foam inserts were a nice addition. Only complaint is there are indentations molded in the case so the inside isn't perfectly flat. Also, somewhat expensive for what it is.

Nice case, but with a significant flaw.
First, the price of the case is amazing compared to the competitors. It is solid and I absolutely LOVE the handle on it. The handle is very solid, unlike the Pelican counterpart which is extremely flexible. With this case I can easily place my carryon atop the wheeled case and wheel them both together and the handle doesn't give, even when loaded to 50 pounds plus a heavy carryon. It was simple enough to switch to the TSA locks as well, though almost maybe too easy to actually provide any security. The wheels roll easily on carpet and other hard surfaces.I give it such a low rating because of the flaw in the lid design. As pointed out by another reviewer the plastic can break off, and did so on mine on it's first trip. If you look at the reinforcement around the lid edges there are "wings" of plastic to add support. However, these stick up so far that if they get smacked by something they can break off. On my very first flight one got a chunk taken out of it and one was broken off near the lid and now there is a hole into the case itself, rendering it no longer even water resistant, let alone waterproof. My Pelican 1615 does not have these large ribs and so there is nothing to get caught on machinery or conveyors. If not for this issue I would have given it 4 stars. The size is adequate but it is still several inches below the max dimension for check in on airlines, and if it was a little longer a lot more gear would fit into it. Also, if you have camera gear, just skip buying it with the cubed foam unless it is so cheap that you can afford to toss it or use the foam elsewhere. The padded divider set is far more useful for any normal camera gear. In fact I can only think of a few limited circumstances where the cubed foam in this case is the best choice, because it is so large. It also weighs 20 pounds empty, so if weight is a concern, get a Pelican 1615 that weighs 5 pounds less and has a bit more room.In summary, if you want to use something for airline travel I am not sure I can recommend this case at the moment. If you are using it for storage of important gear and not flying with it, the case is an amazing bargain and works well, especially with the handle design.
