PURITO Galacto Niacin 97 Power Essence 2 fl.oz /92% galactomyces/fermented/Treatment essence/pore control

So I was using super luxury brands like Sulwhasoo or SK II which work great for my skin. But the Sulwhasoo was so heavily scented to the point that my husband has a hard time sitting next to me. Most of SK II products contain parabens which were off putting to me. I decided to try cheaper alternatives and I’m so glad I found Purito with short ingredient list and this is the only niacinamide serum I tried that doesn’t break me out (I do see some negative reviews about skin breaking out. So it’s likely the niacinamide causing flares or skin is just reacting to it). I’m “allergic to vitamin c serums. It tends to cause rash or skin bumps on me. I’ve been trying to find a vitamin c alternative and I think this is the real magic potion for me. I use it once daily at night with my tretinoin. And I wake up with really smooth skin and the tone is brighter after just a week. I will have to try it longer to see if it helps with fading the spots, but I go to a dermatologist to take care of my hyperpigmentation. I doubt if this serum really gets rid of stubborn dark spots. But it definitely made my skin softer and the tone is brighter. It doesn’t seem to work too well under my Mizon Bb cream. It doesn’t cause pilling but it has a shiny texture to it. So I only uses it at night. I’m not comparing this to the luxury skin care I used to use, but I’m pretty happy with the results so far and of course my wallet is a lot happier too!!

Nice essence. Clean, moisturizing, good for sensitive skin with minimal scent and a nice texture. Would buy again and would recommend.

The essence is lightweight and brightens/softens your skin but I didn’t notice much of an effect on pore control or acne prevention. Having finished the product, I haven’t seen any substantial difference to my combination, acne-prone skin. Still, I think this could offer some benefit to different skin concerns.

I bought this to help with my hyperpigmentation. I can see a couple of my spots lighter, but I known it’s going to take some time. My skin can not tolerate vitamin C very well so I tried this. So far very good. No break outs and it is not sticky which I love. The price is very good too. And the ingredient list is also good. No fragrance which is a plus. Has a bit of an oil feel but it goes away.

I love this essence! I spreads very easily with its thin texture, is hydrating and makes my skin so soft. The hard part about this essence is that the main ingredient can be sensitizing to some people, as you can see in other reviews. Sadly, skincare is not one size fits all, which really sucks. I would definitely recommend introducing this essence by itself for at least two weeks before/after switching anything in your routine. Do not add it if your skin is already irritated, you’ll just be mad at yourself 😭. I had been using tretinoin for three months before I started using this, my skin was doing well and had acclimated to it at that point, no irritation. Omg, it changed the texture of my skin in only a few days! My skin got so soft and smooth. Yes, I know tretinoin is made to do this too, but it’s a little too coincidental for me for it to have improved that much at the same time as introducing this essence. I’ve been using it for almost two months now and my skin is still as soft and smooth as when I started. Also, it has helped reduce my oil production because of the extra hydration and small amount of Niacinamide. I had trouble with The Ordinary Niacinamide serum drying me out and just making my face HURT, so I thought I was sensitive to it, but I think it was the formula and percentage of it that I had a problem with. So if you had the same problem, don’t be scared of trying this with it’s smaller percentage! Oh, I almost forgot! I live in a dry climate with combination sensitive prone skin! I hope this helps! EDIT: 2 years later I am still in love with this essence, I once tried to stop using it about a year into using it to see if it was truly making a difference and it really does. I ordered it after a week of non use, because I couldn’t stand how quickly my fungal acne came back. I have to say it still does exactly what it did from the beginning. It keeps away all the little bumps from the fungal acne I get from all the sweating that happens living in the desert and still helps with my oil production.

I've been using this with the Centella Unscented serum. I've tried to use it alone but it makes my skin feel oily. This is extremely watery & when I use my hands to apply this on my face, both my face and hands feel very oily after, I'm not sure why. I feel like this doesn't help with the oils on my combination-oily skin, it leaves my skin feeling oily and seems to make my skin break out more. Hope this works better for others.

I have never been able to use the same face product for very long and it continue to provide great results until I started using this product. I mix it with a drop or two of vitamin e oil and put it in my face every morning. It is very light weight. My skin looks the best it has ever looked. I will buy this as long as they keep making it.

As I've graduating to my mid-40's my skin has stayed combination oily but now I struggle with adult acne along with wrinkles and some sun spots. I wanted to add a fermented substance to my routine as well as niacinamide to clear up the bacteria on my face to reduce the acne. This serum is a great addition so far. It's a watery consistency with no scent. It absorbs quickly, but still easy to spread across across your face and decollate without drying. It only takes a few seconds to dry down, so I don't have to wait long to layer on another serum. I've been using this a few weeks now and I feel like it has kept my acne away as well as kept my skin soft. I wouldn't say it's the most moisturizing serum I've come across, but it adds a small amount. The price is also really good for 2 full oz of serum. It comes with a pump, so it's not as messy as droppers. I would recommend this for anyone with any type of skin, sensitive and has acne to keep your skin clean and healthy
