I needed a new floodlight to replace one that had been damaged by water ingress and opted for this, which has the added bonus of also being a CCTV camera. Another reason for opting for an AOSU brand device was that I already have their front doorbell and so could use both from the same phone app. With the wiring already in place from the old floodlight, installation was an absolute breeze if you have some basic wiring skills, like I do. Setup was also very easy and it as log as you follow the included instructions, it is fairly fool proof to connect to your network and phone app. Once its up and running, its fairly easy to configure to your preferences and fine tune so you don't get unnecessary notifications or false positives. We have a cat and the camera is 'smart' enough to distinguish her from other potential intruders. I understand that if you opt to make use of the subscription service, there are more AI features that will make the camera even smarter, such as facial recognition to distinguish family members but one of my reasons for opting to buy an AOSU device was that subscriptions aren't a must and you can use the device without one. I'm actually happy with the pet detection, auto roam and the follow target functions that can be used without the need for subscription. In terms of quality, at 3K resolution this camera is more than adequate for our needs and is very clear during daytime and good during night when the infa-red mode kicks in. I've used the app numerous times from remote locations and for the most part it performs very well and have not been overly affected by any lags other other performance issues. The device will automatically switch from HD to SD mode if it detects network slowdowns and whilst night time images will look a little grainier, for the most part, this works rather well. All in all, I've been very impressed by this camera which feels like its very well made and performs very well. In fact, it has actually exceeded my expectations.

Generally a very good camera, I have two of these, but there are some pros and cons: Pros: Easy to install, so much easier than the ring floodlight cam Easy set up and configuration Good camera picture quality Able to move the camera and tracking works well Bright lights Great wifi connectivity No subscription Cons: Does trigger with the slightest little thing even with sensitivity turned down - motion detection a little too sensitive Thinks it sees humans when it could be a parasol blowing in the wind or a tree Will sometimes randomly go 'offline' for brief periods (like 2-3 mins) Doesnt like multiple wave wifi for connecting from a phone - sometimes I have to turn off wifi to connect to the camera

This security camera is fantastic value for money. It was bought to replace an old security light on the front of the house which meant we were able to utilise the existing power supply for the new device. This meant it was very simple and easy to install and setup, literally taking minutes to download the app and successfully link the camera to the network. The product is also able to be fully customised through the software to suit your location and security needs. In my case it provides an ideal technical combination that responds very quickly to light up my front drive and capture high quality images of any movement picked up in established detection zones. It is an impressive piece of kit.

A bit of a faff to set up but got there in the end (and I'm not an electrician). Excellent image quality and area coverage. Great WiFi connections. Only reason for 4 stars is you need to take out a subscription to enable the pet and vehicle detection. I haven't bothered as don't need it. If you do, cheapest subscription is £3.99 pm

The camera worked really well for me. The picture quality was clear and the app was easy to use. The setup was simple and using the camera day to day never gave me any hassle at all. Everything worked the way it should. What really stood out was the customer service. When my camera was damaged, the team responded quickly and were very helpful. They arranged a replacement without any fuss. I am very happy with both the product and the support. All round the team have been terrific and very patient.

Worked great for a year then stopped panning left to right. Spoke to aosu customer services who told me that my enquiry will be escalated and to expect a response in a couple of days . After 2 weeks of not hearing anything I tried to contact customer services again but when I phoned the number again I kept getting a answer phone message saying to phone during office hours which I was doing but still got no joy. Customer service was really poor so won't be buying another.

We purchased the Aosu Floodlight Security Camera as an additional security measure for our home. The build quality of the camera is good. It was easy to set up and install. The realtime image and the recording of events is good quality. However, due to the PIR sensors being extremely sensitive and triggering during heavy rainfall; I contacted (by email) Aosu Customer Service. Nicole has provided excellent customer service by answering my many questions, updating the firmware and arranging for a new camera to be sent out when an issue was confirmed with the current one. The new camera has arrived and will be swapped over. Despite needing a new camera to be sent out, I am really impressed with the level of customer support provided by Nicole and the fact that the same person dealt with all my queries (no need to keep explaining the issues). Thank you very much Nicole.

A very nice camera easy to use and worth the money. I decided to open up an account and use the cloud offer which is reasonable compared to other companies. I noticed that occasionally I couldn't access the recordings and I had to wait for a couple of hours for me to be able to open them. So I contacted the tech support which have been amazing. One thing I like is you get one person to help no different person each time you contact them. Nicola and the thec team too. They went through everything and has sorted the problem by sending me a free SD card so I had a backup option. I'll definitely look at Aosu again just for that support that I received. I must admit it's my first camera you can control the camera. I find my self watching nothing just to play ,😁. 2 annoying things setting up the tracking sensitivity is a bit fun if you have one place in a alley. But playing with the settings and getting your partner to walk up and down you can sort it. Secondly if you have it on snapshots I've found it will break a recording up. Not the end of the world but if you don't realise at first you think what's going . when I mentioned it to Nicole she suggested to change to 24/7 recording which I'll do now. Definitely worth a second look !! Update DON'T WASTE £30+ on the cloud it's just let me down when I needed it 🤨

Ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht von der Aosu Überwachungskamera. Die Installation war unkompliziert und schnell erledigt, sodass ich direkt starten konnte. Was mich besonders überzeugt hat, ist die Bildqualität – gestochen scharf, auch bei schlechteren Lichtverhältnissen. Gerade im Vergleich zu meiner vorherigen Kamera merkt man hier sofort den Unterschied. Zusätzlich reagiert die Kamera extrem schnell auf Bewegungen, sodass man keine wichtigen Momente verpasst. Ich hatte zuvor ein System von Netatmo im Einsatz, das deutlich teurer war. Umso erstaunlicher ist es, dass die Aosu Kamera in meiner Erfahrung nicht nur mithalten kann, sondern in mehreren Punkten sogar besser ist – insbesondere bei Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit. Auch die App funktioniert stabil und intuitiv, was im Alltag wirklich wichtig ist. Fazit: Für den Preis bekommt man hier eine sehr leistungsstarke Überwachungskamera mit top Bildqualität und schneller Reaktion. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Einfache Installation, gute Bilder und Ausleuchtung und vor allem super Service! Ich habe die Kamera mit Außenbeleuchtung im Herbst 2024 gekauft und war vollauf zufrieden. Installation war gut beschrieben und leicht zu bewerkstelligen. Mit Speicherkarte kann die Kamera auch ohne Cloud und zusätzliche Kosten, autark betrieben werden. Die Ausleuchtung der LED Fluter ist richtig gut, Schlüsselloch finden ist ab jetzt kein Problem mehr! Die Kamera liefert scharfe Bilder in guter Qualität. Leider hatte meine Kamera kurz vor Weihnachten 2025 einen mechanischen Defekt, die Drehung in der Horizontalen ging noch problemlos, in der Vertikalen war vermutlich das Getriebe defekt. Mit mulmigen Gefühl wurde der AOSU Kundendienst angeschrieben und ich wurde überzeugt wie gut ein Kundendienst sein kann! Kurzer Austausch per Mail, Fehlerbeschreibung, kurzes Video mit dem Fehler (nach Anleitung), und in nullkommanix wurde mit ein Austauschgerät zugesendet. Man bat mich die defekte Kamera zur Fehleranalyse in die Serviceabteilung (nach China) zu senden. Die Kosten dafür mussten zwar erst einmal voraus gezahlt werden, wurden jedoch ebenso schnell wieder erstattet. Dazu waren die Servicekontakte super nett und hilfsbereit. Bei mir war es Nicole. Sie war einfach super! Es wurde nicht nur 08/15 das Serviceprogramm abgespult, sondern auch nachgefragt ob alles geklappt hat und der eine oder andere hilfreiche Tipp gegeben. So sollte Service immer funktionieren! Deshalb gibt es auch 5 Sterne, ein Defekt kann immer mal auftreten, aber der Service macht dann eben den Unterschied! Sollte ich mir noch eine Kamera kaufen, dann mit Sicherheit von AOSU!
