Great book for the collection
This book has some great songs to learn. I have a couple of music books now and the only issue I'm finding is they are starting to repeat the same songs in each of them. That said, this is a really good book with tunes for a good beginner to progressing player to get their head around. some quick tunes for the fingers to work and some lovely slow ballads to help with those long tones. A great on to add to the library.

I liked the great variety of popular songs and that it was delivered quickly. With the other 101 song books it gives me a great range of different songs to play.

Good music book
A lot of different tunes for small cost. Some not that long but I expected this for the price.

And do not expect a good version of 'Bridge over troubled water'
Ok it's a 101 songs, but some of those songs have one page and you get through them in a minute and think, this is a 5 minute song, and you're thinking, there must be more than that - examples 'Piano Man' and 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for'. And do not expect a good version of 'Bridge over troubled water', one page and all other versions I've seen have two. However there are some complete and good songs, e.g. 'The first time ever I saw your face' and 'Time in a bottle'. One other thing, this book may contain my now all-time favourite tune to play on the sax. I am talking about 'The lion sleeps tonight'. Absolutely ****ing brilliant fun, you can just keep playing bits over and over again, it's in an easy key and there are no funny notes. All together now - A wimbaway a wimbaway a wimbaway a wimbaway a wimbaway a wimbaway - In the jungle the mighty jungle ...

Great for the alto sax
Got this for a gift for my nephew who plays the alto sax and it has some great songs in it. He was excited to have some new music to play
