I wanted the Kaplan book, but this book really surprised me because it was a very helpful book. I used some outside sources to study (free Khan Academy website for mostly chemistry and some biology concepts) but this book alone certainly would help someone to get a 80+ on the TEAS test. It only included one practice test, so I took it first so I could focus on my weaknesses. I studied my weak areas first then, I went thoroughly through the entire book section by section. I answered every practice question in the book. I reviewed everything until I actually understood the concept not just the answer. The book included the formulas that you need for math, so I made those into flashcards and memorized them. There are several useful language arts lists to memorize in the book too. The only improvement for this book would be more mnemonic devices ( I literally used Google to find some free mnemonic devices) for human anatomy and Physiology since science is the biggest section on the TEAS test, and human anatomy and Physiology composes the most percentage in the science section. Also, the reading test taking strategy in this book worked for me. I hope this helps, and good luck on your study. Review: Wtf is a "tibula"? - Ch. 21: Geometry, Review Problem #6 uses the incorrect equation to determine the amount of 12" tiles needed. Their explanation says "t × 1/3 = 63", however "t × 1/9 = 63" would be appropriate because 1yd^2 = 9ft^2. Ch. 26: The Neuromuscular System, pg. 294 has a diagram of the semitendinosus muscle inserting into the.... MEDIAL TIBULA. What is a "tibula"? There is a tibia and a fibula. I chose this over Mometrix because I grew up with McGraw Hill being the gold standard in education material. This book is a major disappointment.
