I recently built a swim platform for my boat and wanted to cover the fiberglass gel coat with one of those cushioned nonslip flooring materials. The problem is I have a number of fasteners protruding from the top of the platform which hold it to the brackets below. My choice was to just cover the fastener heads with the flooring which would make them inaccessible (and leave a void were the flooring could eventually lift) or cut them out. The better choice in my mind was to cut them out but how do you make a perfectly round hole in a cushioned flooring material so that it looks good? I had contemplated using various sized hole saws and gently trying to drill them out until I happened across these circle cutters. These things worked perfectly. I placed the flooring on a piece of plywood, traced the fastener locations on the flooring, and then proceeded to use the circle cutters to make the holes. To insure that I didn't damage the cutters I put a block of wood on the top of the cutter and struck it with a mallet. Besides protecting the cutter the block of wood distributed the mallet hit more equally across the cutter. All it took was a couple blows and I was left with a perfect hole. I had a couple people ask were I got this mat made for me and were shocked when I told them I made it myself and inquired how I could make such perfectly aligned holes.

These geometric shapes for leather cutting are very sharp right out of the box. I've used them multiple times to cut different things for my leather working projects and I'm very pleased with them. They are made of quality metal and seem to be very very sturdy. I strongly recommend them and I strongly recommend the seller.

Perfect for my application. Durable and sharp. I was able to cut a 2mm gasket for an intercooler pipe.

I bought this to cut dense foam. They work great, but the rubber cutting pad should be thicker. After several cuts it's pretty much wore out. Otherwise it would've received 5 stars.

The teardrop dies are perfect for my shop!

I use these to cut an ostomy appliance. So much easier than using scissors.

The cutters work great , but the pad you put underneath your fabric didn’t last.

Works great for me in making gaskets using gasket material that is designed for use as a gasket.

I used this product to upgrade a set of plastic chess pieces. Cut circles of fabric out with leather cutting tools; took off the original cheap thin fabric that was on the pieces; filled the hollow center with a combination of lead BB shot and hot glue; then applied the new felt bottoms. Doubled the weight of the pieces. Perfect. A little time and effort but much cheaper than buying a weighted set. The cutters were accurate and sharp. Everything came well packaged. I could cut the felt with only my hand pressing down on them, but a quick hit with a mallet was much easier and faster. I just wish the included cutting matt fit in the plastic storage container for the cutters. But the little cardboard box it all came works fine.

This would be best suited for light weight leather. It does not work for what I needed... 7-10 oz leather and I need to punch 5000. I didnt even get the first one punched and had to use a knife to finish

The welds broke with little use. The striking edges rolled and deformed the shape of the cutter. I do not recommend this product.

Used to cut holes in heavy duty landscape fabric for sprinkler pop-ups. Worked flawlessly!
