If you are interested in trying new electrical devices... this is a great option. It's unique method of getting fit into any junction power box is impressive. It's lighting is sufficient, it's size is around a palm and looks decent. However it would be more efficient as down lighter (from a ceiling) as I've found it dazzling on eyes when placed vertically on a wall.

An excellent quality build light with good brightness, easy fix (pin) type make replacement and fitting easy. Disadvantage: The power connector is slightly projecting out makes mounting on flat surface inconvenient.

1. Looks nice on the wall. 2. Easy to clean. But.. 1. Keeps glowing in the dark when off. I checked all my wiring, no problem there. The old LED lamp did not glow at the same location. I guess they didn't build the circuit to eliminate tiny induced currents in parallel wires. This problem usually occurs in no-brand cheap Chinese LED lamps. 2. Not as easy to fix as they claim. The base plate is smaller than the junction box onto which it has to be mounted. So when you tighten the screws, the plate falls into the junction box. You have to use some sort of spacers with the screws to keep the plate in a proper position. The base plate should have been of larger diameter so as to stay on the wall and not fall into the box below.

I purchased it for Rs.239 a piece and it's an excellent price compared to other items which cost more than double the price. Note that even though it says 6500K Cool Day Light, it is more of Soft White which would be around 5500K. So, if you absolutely want the crystal white light like the one with Fluorescent bulbs, then this is not for you. I would have preferred 6500K but I am OK with 5500K as well. The other aspect I like about this is the wide angle light distribution which is not offered by others. Other manufacturers offer rimless surface mount but they are focussed and narrow angle which results in uneven lighting of room unless we place multiple lights in multiple places. But with this product, the dome diffuser lets the light distribute more evenly all around which is more pleasant to the eyes. This is the reason why I decided to keep it even though it's not 6500K. Keep in mind that this is not true surface mount. The electrical connection points protrude from the back almost 10mm. You may be able to place it flush the surface if you already have a junction box with bulb holder by simply removing the bulb holder. But if you have to place it at a point where there is no junction box in wall or in ceiling, then you will have to first place a 15mm thick wood or plywood piece and make hold in the middle so that the electrical connections do not touch the wall/ceiling without grounding the live and also to hold it properly in place. Once installed, it's easy to replace the bulb in future if the bulb goes bad. Simply pull the bulb and place other one. But this connection is a proprietary holder. Not standardised like B22. So, if you want to use it at multiple places, keep some extra pieces at hand. The best part is its uniform light distribution all around. However, it suits well at places where you already have a junction box in wall or ceiling.

It's not working for me after 10 days so sad , then it like twinkling,sometime completely off ,sometime on please respond
