This will be my 4th these cameras. I’ve been very pleased with their quality and performance. Install is easy enough but the challenging part for me has been the need to install power at most of my locations. It’s been worth the effort as the combination of cameras provides great coverage. The resolution is very good, even when selecting lower resolution options. This camera sees well in the dark and the detection modes afire effective. We ordered these cameras for our customer. They are very easy to install, featuring RJ45 and power jack connectors, along with WiFi capability. The connection is quite reliable. They offer good resolution, a 360-degree view, and easy operation through the website.

I’ll be writing this on all the Tapo cameras I’ve recently purchased. (4x C110, 2x C210, 2x C520WS) These are flawless, amazing, and so far ahead of Wyze it’s not even funny. They are massively affordable, truly need no subscription, have fantastic features in their app, can record locally to an SD card; everything you would want. Coming from Wyze (see more below), I didn’t know that cameras were supposed to act like this. I assumed, at Wyze prices, that I was getting what I paid for. But when I finally had enough constant stress and spent the money to change to Tapo… my life has been changed. Seriously, I probably added years to my life not being so stressed out all the time because my cameras never, ever worked right. These do, and I cannot say it enough times… if you’re currently using Wyze then get one of these. Use it for a week side-by-side and tell me what you think. Super light, have a few of mine mounted with ‘hard plastic velcro’ (3M Dual Lock). Setup is fast and easy, and works right away. Don’t have to do it over and over again (Wyze). Clarity is superb - 1440p quality. Night vision is phenomenal. Don’t really care about ‘color’ night vision - but my outdoor ones do have it. And one of the best parts is Tapo is part of TP-Link. What does that mean? TP-Link has been around for a very long time, and they specialize in networking equipment, LoL. So yeah, if you want a reliable camera on your network, who better to trust than a networking company. TLDR: Don’t waste your time on any other brand. Buy these. I promise you won’t regret it. About Wyze: If you’re like me and never wanted to spend thousands on home monitoring and security, then you may have stumbled upon Wyze cameras. At first, they were amazing - very affordable with no subscription necessary. And they worked. Over time, that changed drastically as they ventured into making everything else on the planet instead of focusing on their roots (cameras). They funded that stuff by changing to a subscription policy. And in their haste had multiple security breaches and problems such as other people viewing cameras that aren’t theirs. This is of course while the software and hardware has become so incredibly bad that they’re unusable. I mean, they actually do not function 92% of the time. Whether it’s freezing, not connecting, stuttering so bad that it looks like a PowerPoint presentation, app for closing, etc.

Excellent camera I'm impressed with the picture quality and the firmware Tapo is doing a good job however the home and away mode is a good idea however it resets all the settings to default.also from a theoretical perspective one should be able to turn off the motion setting because even at the lowest sensitivity even the leave trigger his event .night vision is excellent the 4 reset scenes for the pan is great I can quickly pan a full 180 with these presets. I really put this cam through the paces .though the rain without any major issue only bit of haze on the lens .As the sun came out it quickly evaporated I am impressed with the calling feature and even spoke to the Amazon delivery guy remotely s he delivered another package. Tapo's team is doing an excellent job with the cloud software it can only get better as te S.W version upgrade I decided to go with the brand because I believe I will be supportive with updates etc Andrew A Barbados

Best security camera I ever bought and I’m buying another one for my warehouse. Mountain Inn was easy great quality battery. Life is unbelievable. Great sound in nighttime vision is out of this world.

I own several brands of security cameras covering my entire property and this TP-Link Tapo camera is my favorite one. I have owned this camera for about a year and it has performed flawlessly. The camera is feature-packed and I love that it automatically pans and tilts to follow the subect it is tracking. It does so even in sub-freezing temperatures, although I will admit that I have the unit installed beneath a soffit and somewhat protected from the elements. The video quaity is excellent, even in darkness when it relies on infrared. In daylight or when the LED light is enabled at night, the picture quality is even better. The functionality of this camera is also excellent and the features are too numerous to list completely. The functions work via a downloadable app and you can control pan/tilt, LED light, detection sensitivity options, and much more. It has an expansion slot for an optional Micro SD cards up to 512 GB to store images and videos. It also overwrites the card automatically when it is full. The camera is powered by a standard 110 volt plug-in AC adapter with a 6-foot long cord. The adapter has a weatherproof connection to protect against the elements. I was able to install the camera and configure it to my Wi-Fi in under an hour. This camera is a powerful addition to my home security network and I feel safer with its ability to see, track, and record anyone approaching my property. It's also a fun way to observe wildlife that passes by. It's a great product and I highly recommend it for its many features and reliable performance.

I got this solely to monitor my front door. With Wi-Fi dropping out from time to time, I chose to hook this up through ethernet cable. Doing it this way requires a little more planning and requires a drill and a big enough drill bit, probably what Cable/Satellite techs use when installing coaxial cable. I got a micro SD card, instead of subscribing to a cloud service. I set it up to start recording when a person or pet is within range to save space on storage. With the TAPO app I am also given a notification on my phone when it starts recording. However, you can access surveillance any time you open the app. So far, it has not failed, reset on its own, or malfunctioned. it works like a Ring doorbell camera, but it covers more area. I highly recommend this.
