EdenAquarium Feature Water Pump 135 (2000 lph)

Well what a POS this pump is - they say that Eden is made by Oase but I can only assume that the fail Oase’s quality control and then get passed off as Eden. Changed the front end so that it would use the BSP fitting but once on the fitting pushes hard up against the impellers front spindle cone meaning it is very hit or miss whether this pump runs or not due to the binding spindle. Even when run through a dense filter the slightest debri Will bind the impeller and stop it from rotating not a great pump at all, maybe I have been unlucky but I don’t like to take the risk whether this pump will work out not. Cannot return it as I had to cut off the moulded 3 pin mains plug so that I could wire it into my waterproof mains supply outlet. Would not buy this again and will not risk its failures in my setup. I have put it in the garage to collect dusk until the next clear out when it will probably get binned along with the other trash.
