Nelson's Classic Companion NKJV Bible (Black Bonded Leather)

This bible is great being made out of leather and also being skinny enough it can fit in a medium to large size purse. The only problem is that the bible is made out of black and burgundy instead of some lighter colors. Other than that it works as intended, and the text is a little small but not too small. Defiantly good for on the go.

I’m getting back into the Word after being agnostic for several years. I wanted something more portable and discreet to carry out the house and this fits the bill perfectly. The pictures others have uploaded are true. This Bible is the size of a “longer” women’s wallet, has about the same thickness too of an overpacked wallet. Some of my pages did come creased; but I realized the Word was printed on the creases (not that the typing was perfect and then creased). I wouldn’t recommend smoothing them out as you’ll rip the page. All in all, worth the money and fits every need I had. Thank you so much. Whoever thought of this is a genius.

I needed a Bible to throw in my media bag that wouldn't get the pages bent. This little gem was it. It has a protective snap cover. Very compact, would fit easily in a cargo pocket. Nice addition to Bible collection too.

This Black Bonded Leather Bible is beautiful and well made. The leather feels smooth and durable, and the binding is sturdy. Beautiful small Bible. Slightly larger than my phone. Perfect for taking along on the go. Make it a habit to read The Word rather than scroll. So excited for this.

Smaller than I expected and the font is very tiny, but it’s easy to carry in a purse or travel bag. Convenient for reading on the go.....

I am a Bible version nerd... I enjoy how each Bible translation throws a slightly different angle to what the Lord's Word says. I like the NKJV because it offers a milsly older English take without the thee's and thou's of the KJV that can at times overcomplicate the Word at times. Older english is sweet because it offers depth that simplified english lacks. It enables you to pull more while also leaving room to ask "hey, what's this mean?" and a 30 min rabbit hole of research later, you find yourself learning more about theology than you did about the original passage you were reading lol. The size is excellent and the "check book" style design naturally lends itself to some natural protection. This is one of a few EDC (everyday carry) Bibles I have on me (look I carry only 2...) and it holds up great! And the added bookmaek serves its purpose well! No fraying of the edges or anything like that. Highly reccommend this either for you or a friend that is curious and wanta to know more about Jesus. Jesus Christ is Lord!! ☦️
