365 by Whole Foods Market, Ripe Sliced Olives, 2.25 Ounce

It's so hard to find black olives that taste authentic nowadays. My grandfather was from Turkey, and he introduced me to black olives in the 1960's. I loved the sweet, smoky flavor. Over the years, so many "name brand" black olives lost that flavor. The are all bitter tasting, and I honestly thought I'd never find black olives with the flavor I grew up loving. Thankfully, I gave these a try! They are wonderful, and taste almost the same as the black olives I remember eating when I was growing up. My only complaint is the cans usually arrive dented.

I liked these because the pickling solution wasn't so strong. Good flavor.

The olive were worth the valued price.. I put them in our salad mixed well, tasted great. And texture was perfect. Will buy them again.

Great small containers vs buying larger that go to waste for one meal.

These will be great to add to salads or on top of frozen pizza. Being a black olive junkie, there are a multitude of uses for them. Enjoy. Recommended.

Small size for maybe 2 uses which is what I wanted. They were perfect olives.
