I needed to replace my Revlon hairdryer because the plug fell into the toilet. I purchased this one because I liked the price and that it came with the 2 attachments. Even though it's larger in size all around, it's lighter. I hope it's durable. I can be a klutz sometimes and often drop things. I've dropped my other one and never had a problem. The plastic is much thinner on this one and I wonder if it's going to be durable if I accidentally drop it. It doesn't seem to get as hot as my former Revlon dryer which was the same wattage. I think because the shaft part is longer than my other one, so the heat has father to travel. I like the 3 speed/3 heat settings and the cool shot works well. I think in other reviews that describe it as not cold enough don't realize it's not supposed to be like blowing an air conditioner on your hair, it's "cool", not a "cold", and it does just that. I only dry/style my bangs typically and let the rest air dry, but it's so far taking me a bit longer to do my bangs as again, I don't feel it gets as hot as my former dryer.

Good hair dryer. Comes with attachments, not that I use them. It has a nice, long cord, gives it a pro feel. Heats well and cools well when needed. It’s a little larger than I like to travel with but it’s not huge. Super lightweight.

I bought this hair dryer because I wanted a second one so I could keep one in my art studio to dry paint and use one for my hair. I bought an earlier model of this hair dryer 20 years ago and it still works great. This newer model is stronger and hotter. And possibly a bit lighter too. So the old one will go to the studio :) highly recommend.
